  • Cialis Side Effects Vs Viagra

    Hey y'all -

Looking for experience from those who have taken both (not at the same time) Cialis and Viagra for ED. So far I've taken Cialis at 5 mg to 10 mg. Cialis definitely gives me some funky ass uncomfortable side effects including headaches, a tight chest (feels like my heart is working harder), lightheadness, and exhaustion. It TOTALLY works to cure the ED, I just feel like i'm having a stroke for 2 to 3 days afterwards!

I am curious about Viagras side effects. I've read that they are worse, but is that true. ? Are the Viagra headaches "that much worse" than Cialis? I was also wondering if the side effects for Viagra are much shorter lived since the drug half-life is much shorter.

Finally, for those who take Cialis long-term - did your symptoms subside during continuing use with time? Meaning will my headaches get better? I've heard some say they only got worse over time but others say they've improved.

About me - 37 yrs old; healthy/runner; 6'-0"; 180 lbs. I started having ED with this new girl I'm dating. I do have anxiety and I'm sure that's the cause - but it's like this death cycle (e.g., can't perform = build it up in your head for the next time and create more anxiety!).

    All the best,
    Les

The side effects differ by person. I took Viagra for about 15 years (50 to 100 mg) to overcome diabetic ED. I did experience some quickening of the hart and some minor hazy vision during the first ten years. I am currently taking 20 mg of daily Cialis without any negative side effects.

Unfortunately, in my case (diabetes), the ED continues to slowly increase. On days we anticipate orgasmic sex, I also take 50 mg of Viagra and a Trimix injection. Now I am not experiencing any negative side effects other than a four hour chubby. I believe over time, you do get acclimated to the meds and the side effects lessen or disappear.

Sides were similar for me. I usually get a stuffy nose from both (which is a sign it's active in my system), that usually subsides after a few hours. Viagra's sides will definitely be shorter lasting due to its much quicker activity life.
        Started - 6.25" NBP / 7" BP x 4.75" EG

        Short goal -7.25"(goal reached!)NBP** 8.25"BPEL x 5.75" EG (goal reached!)

        Long term goal - 8"NBP ** 9" BPEL x 6"EG

Thanks guys. Maybe I'll try a half Viagra (so actually 12.5 mg ) while on my own to check it out to see what it does, then step it up to 25 mg if the side effects aren't bad. I'll probably see if 2.5 mg Cialis works as well instead of hitting up 5 mg. I don't want to try it in front of my girl and then freak out if makes me feel like poop.

Just to close the loop for those who are considering an ED med for a short-term fix. I did finally try ~25 mg of generic Viagra last night (purchased through a website, not through a prescription). It worked great...barely any side effects. Completely night and day with the side effects for me versus Cialis. I tiny bit of facial flushing with absolutely no headaches. It just goes to show that every body is different and everyone will have different reactions. So, IF an ED medicine is the correct choice to help you get out of a rut or for another physical limitation, don't get discouraged if one doesn't work. Know that another might work just fine.

ImE, Viagra is quicker to act but carries more flushing and headaches as a side-effect, however, Cialis some people get back pains. So it differs from drug to drug.

This was a very small and not really statistically valid trial. Cialis is supposed to be long acting, overall though all but one patient preferred Viagra and the remaining patient reported a better quality of erection with Levitra. No one wanted to remain on Cialis as they all felt it gave a greater duration of side effects, headache and heartburn mainly. I buy a generic of cialis from rx-drugsmart dot com and yes they work really well. It's your choise, what to choose generic or brand cialis. As for me I don't feel the difference, except price.Strongly recomend you to consult your doctor and get a prescription and be careful with the choice.Good luck and I hope this helps
This is like the second time you have mentioned that site in virtually the same context, do you directly own or represent that company? Lemme tell ya, I've never heard of it til you mentioned it - and good thing I haven't, the website looks faker than fake. The free shipping is disturbing.

That's interesting that in your small study most folks preferred Viagra. I can honestly say that I now prefer Viagra. Between 15 and 25 mg is all I need and I get hardly any side effects and feel great the next day versus Cialis that basically rendered me useless (except for sex) for 3 days after. I'm not promoting anything here, but I brought my Viagra from USTabs.com. They showed up within a week and worked just fine.
