  • Fats maybe a fix for one type of ED

    Hi everybody. To start off I dont have terrible ED. I have porn induced ED which makes it hard for me to get an erection and my erections arent very strong at all. But I know this is because of porn and I´m working on that. However one thing that I dont think has anything to do with porn is my lack of morning wood and random erections. This has to be a physical problem.

    Two days ago I was reading about how the building blocks for testosterone can be found in saturated fat and that in order to increase testosterone levels I should eat a lot of it and especially fat from animal sources. My diet has generally been very low in fat so I decided to give it a try. I did that for two days and this morning I woke up and to my amazement saw the hardest erection i can remember ever seeing. Now of course it has only been two days so I dont know how much of a difference it could have done but it is as far as I know the only thing I did differently. And that erection was really hard. So I am inclined to think it might have been the reason.

    I have also had some random erections throughout the day today and I´m hopeful. Anyways I´ll update this thread tomorrow if the same thing happens again

    Make sure you are eating enough protein and carbohydrates, more importantly, are exercising to avoid accumulation of body fat which has (among other side effects) aromatase, the enzyme that converts testosterone into estrogen.


    A healthy diet and exercise plan is necessary, but not focusing on just a single food item or category, monitor your calories and their source, and maintain balance of intake and consumption, otherwise you will be adding more problems.


    40% of your daily calories should come from proteins, 30% from healthy fat, and 30% from complex carbohydrates.


    About 2000 calories a day is the average requirement for humans, the number can be changed depending on your lifestyle and goal.

      Yeah I do exercise and I balance it with proteins and carbs. The change is that before I usually stayed away from fats as I thought they were bad for me.

      Like I said I only started eating more fat two days ago but I have so much more energy and I just feel more content. Really fun so far

      I hop to wake up with morning wood tomorrow too.

          I've noticed this as well. I have a noticeably higher libido when I eat a lot of peanut butter over a period of time

            What's funny, is the weeks where I ate more bacon, I had higher levels of testosterone and DHT. By 18 points, not that much, but still considered significant.

              PB contains a nice variety of amino acids, and some iron and copper too. It's one of the ideal nut/plant based proteins tbh.

                Same thing happened today. Its a little frustrating to know that for all this time my fat restriction has given me problems.

                  Get some extra virgin olive oil. I've been taking 2 spoonfuls of that everyday. I made a thread about it a while ago. My balls increased in size after implementing it into my diet too. I'm going through the same thing as you and I know it isn't a physical problem because I'm very healthy. It must be the porn. Both times when I quit porn and got to around 30 days my penis started feeling alive again but I keep relapsing.

                    lol. pursuingperf, i think a bigger reason why your balls have increased in size might have something to do with not masturbating or having any sex for 30 days at a time. Hell, I'm surprised they haven't gotten huge by now.

                      They say that if you have high T levels your nuts shrink, but that's just rubbish!

                        Yeah this is true I was just getting into the show/competitive bodybuilding scene, and when we start cutting out fats from our diet?
                        Testosterone levels dip very low, some of my competing buddies were like yeah you won't be able to get a good erection a week before show at least...

                        But fats are essential if you have joint problems add them back into your diet, and they are used in hormone synthesis so try not to cut em out.

                          No. It has nothing to do with that. I already made a thread about this.... I incorporated broccoli and olive oil to my diet to see if they would get bigger and within a week they were bigger. Anyways I'm done explaining that and trying to prove myself. A bunch of guys over at ************* followed what I did and they too got bigger nuts bcuz of it.

                            Btw, Olive Oil will have similar effects - as long as it's pure.
