  • Green tea

    hi guys,

i hear that green tea helps with erections. lately ive been experience some problems with my erection quality and i find that green tea can increase quality. but at the same time i hear that the caffeine in it is bad for erection quality. so is it good and bad at the same time? im confused.

    Moderation is key!

Too much of anything is not good for your health, caffeine is a vasoconstrictor, but it is not present in tea in high quantities, so if you drink tea in moderation (about 3 cups a day) you will be fine.

Green tea is one of my favourite drinks I do not drink it for erection purposes just like the taste.

I even ditched my morning coffee for green tea since found out that there is a little difference in caffeine between the two.

Also green tea has many positive health benefits while my main purpose of drinking green tea is the metabolic effects it has.

I drink green tea twice a day myself.

I tried the Korean red ginseng. I found it helped for a few hours the day I took it and then backfired and gave me ED the next day. The ED was worst in the morning. I had to take ginseng all day in large doses to overcome the ED by evening. Next morning: ED again. Ginseng is said to increase estrogen.

          Edit: January 21
I got my supplements confused. That was Glutathione that gave me rebound ED. The Ginseng helped ED but made my prostate swell up and slowed my urine stream to a trickle. That was in my mid 50s. If you're young that might not happen to you.

My experience with black tea is that it sometimes helped for a few hours if I drank several cups. There was no problem the next day. I read somewhere that coffee increases cortisol (stress hormone) and tea reduces it. This may be the result of the Theanine in tea. Black tea is green tea that has been fermented.

Green Tea can help,. but I wouldn't put it at the top of the list, I would say ginkgo is better for E.Q.

Why not take the 5Gs and get the benefits of multiple herbal supplements?

I have severe diabetic induced ED. I drink about 6 oz of green tea every night and now wake up in the morning with a nice engorgement. Not morning wood, but more than the limp dick I had prior to drinking the green tea.

They are both good, as not2big said, it makes more sense to take all of the Five G's, then reaping the benefits of multiple pathways involved in the whole process.
Ginseng and ginkgo both generally have positive effects of hormones, but ginkgo tends to be more anxiogenic (anxiety increasing), namely in people with social anxiety type issues or such...

Red Korean is more stimulating than other ginseng types, american ginseng is usually overall better for sexual health. More beneficial for a larger group of men. AG typically has less side-effects too.

Supplements are typically more effective, due to larger proportions of active chemicals in the extract.
