It's very reversible. Just the fact that you acknowledge it's not a physical issue is an important first step.

What are you doing to try and resolve your depression? It's important that you don't wallow in it and that you try to actively seek to counter it.

Psychological ED affects many of us. I suffer from it severely. Generally if you unable to obtain an erection over the course of the night you should considering seeing a doctor to diagnose you. You may also want to consider getting your blood checked just to make sure you are healthy. Even though you have found a direct link to your depression, depression can be an indicator of other major health issues.

Psychological ED is usually a short term condition that affects nearly all men at one point in their lives. Porn is certainly no help to you either. Porn alone can cause many men psychological ED or make the conditions more severe. Pe_ZEN has an awesome post called “Don’t rely of porn for an erection.” I recommend this thread to you and should stop watching porn immediately. You should also read the entirety of the posts/replies to understand the condition more thoroughly.

Psychological ED should disappear as your depression fades. What are you doing to curb your depression? There are a lot of things you can do to enhance your life in which this forum is hands down the best place to start. PM me if you are interested in learning more about becoming better with woman. There is another community much like this one in which men practice theories and proven methods of attracting woman.

Well I'm sorry for the brake up but like BigAl mentioned that its not a physical issue, the emotion that you feel is going to take time to heel and yes it will in some case will effect to ED. I've been there when the Wife and I get in to a big argument that I tend to go through a state of depression. I have been dealing with depression for a long time now and I have seen the Dr. for help for it and refuse to take medication for it and take more control of it myself and I say it works for me, so I would say keep your mind busy and hang out with the boys and have some fun and move on to bigger and better things like life in general. Your problem with ED will pass over in time, for now get a physical and get checked to see how your health is and better your self fist and go from there...

Yep, been there, depression definitely can kill your libido. Also, if you are prescribed any anti-depressants, a lot of them have been known to cause problems like that as well, some worse than others.
Actually quite far from being the biggest, but that is what drives me.

Many meds, including anti-depressants can affect your EQ and cause mild ED. I do not believe in cutting out anti-depressants if you need them. A lot of us suffer from some sort of depression. For some of us, it's seasonal, especially in the winter when the days are short and there isn't much light. Some of us suffer long-term depression and we need those meds.

P.E. can help you keep your erections in spite of the meds. Most ED passes after a while, as does depression. This too shall pass. Think of it as a temporary set-back. And don't dwell on it.
