  • How much will exercise and diet help to eliminate the dreaded fatpad?

I have a fat pad and it's probably around a little less than an inch. I so badly want rid of it, but even though I lose weight it doesn't go down a whole lot. Granted i need to lose a bit more weight as i am still carrying excess fat. I am wondering if there is any way to reduce the fat pad by a lot? any tips?

Well it happened to me (just a month ago) without planning it.I got a descent body accept my belly.I lost some of it because of depression and low food income(small dick depression caused it) if I need to be honest.I am not sure how much I lost but 100% at least 5-6 cm from the weist(it was 90+ cm,now it`s 86cm and I still got a work to do).Basicly you know the answer I think but let me tell you:
    -deficit calories
-better quality of calories aka healthy foods like nuts, clean meat, eggs, veggies.I would suggest a bit less carbs
-cardio (I like high intensity cardio vs slow but longer cardio)

    so that`s basicly.Good luck!

Unfortunately we loose fat at about the same rate all over the body.. But it will collect in areas like the fat pad, belly, love handles, etc unevenly at that.. That's why some people can actually look worse if they had not of lost the weight at all for awhile until they can finish off that middle tire.. Sad but true.. It's not possible to "Spot" loose weight.. All u can do is tone those muscle groups up..

All one can do for it is try to make it down to a reason BF% and go from there.. Even fairly skinny guys can still have a 1/2" fat pad... 8-10% bf still have the pad of some sort..

Just keep on trucking... The more weight u loose the more di*k u will "show".. That is definitely true.. According to a Dr. Oz Show from awhile back.. I did laugh when he claimed it would reveal 1" for every 30 lbs average lost.. I doubt that unless losing like 75 lbs+.. I could the NBPL going up or the FL going I would say a 30-50 lb drop before u took notice of even a 1/2".. It's a really stubborn area to deal with..

Master-gauge I lost 5 kg that`s probably like 12 lbs and I improved my erection at that time so I can`t say what is EQ and what is weight loss but I am 0.4-0.5 inches more on lengh. And I lost just 2-3 mm of my biceps girth ( I don`t know how to call this measurment on English) and at least 5-6 cm from the weist.I was having a belly now my core is flat.I lost most of the weight from there I am pritty sure.My bench dropped by a little from the weight loss but my deadlift even increesed(very strange).I would say exactly the same things like you before the weightloss but now...I don`t know what to believe.I am going to try cleaning even more my belly and I am going to be sure how much cm lost from the weist=how much NBPEL increese.

It is possible to squish the fat from this area into the belly region or thighs. If you consistently push down and then away from the fat pad area you can move it some.

You cannot lose fat in one area. It is genetically predisposed on distribution. Some people have it on their legs more than others. Some have it on their arms.

Cutting out a lot of carbs and moving to a low carb, high protein diet, with cardio and weights will give you results. I find most people are way over the top with carbs.

This is especially true when you realize carbs are not needed in our diet at all. We make all the carbs we need by digesting fats and proteins.

It is hard to say.. Basically it is generalizations of the normal for most that we go with.. As a rule most are all over.. I notice the my face, arms, upper back and chest loses-thinning a lot more first then the belly.. But I do notice there is some off the belly too at the same time... Just there is more fat carried in that area over the others and the lost is less noticed, but not really it went at the same rate..

Thing is the more fat u loose too, more there is a testosterone boost and a bit of a drop in estrogen so that can help, this improves the "Manly" factor and makes us more "attractive" to females.. That's why we all tote getting in shape as the go to for the ladies.. It's true and likely more important then our size..

Allan's got it right most people are different or going to react differently to training.. The Carb thing is a very big deal... A person eats way too many in the run of a day.. Even eating what was considered cleaned by me, was still way too much 180 grs. per day range.. Too much and keeping a guy fatter then he wants to be..

To loose drop that to 30-50-75 grs per day and watch the scale turn back the pounds.. Thing is to remember, u are going to feel like poop for about 4-5 weeks.. Then come back to normal or a bit higher then normal energy levels and u are good to go...

First there is no such thing as Spot Fat reduction.

As the great Covert Bailey was quoted "If Spot Fat reduction worked then Gum Chewers would have Skinny Faces" !

The only way I know to spot reduce is surgery .

Other than that your body will lose fat from where it is programed to which may be from around your middle and fat pad or it could start with your face and the pad be the last spot to go.

Somewhat this is true of spot reducing. However with extremely long pumping sessions with a wide base cylinder I have actually squished fat off of my fat pad. Then by using massage techniques I was able to further move fat from this area. I moved enough fat from the fat pad that I lost .5 inches off my fat pad. I don't count this as far loss, not worthy loss. Instead I think of it as body sculpting. With enough dedication you can move fat to another area. That being said. It is way better to lose the fat through proper diet and excersizes.

If this is true for others and I am saying it could be it's out ahead of the science. Mind you the same could be said of a lot that we deal with.

It's worth mentioning here that green tea helps our bodies burn fat more efficiently. This is just one of the many positive health benefits of drinking green tea. Many dietary supplements contain green tea as an ingredient.
I started drinking green tea for other benefits and I think this is a big reason I lost about 15 lbs. Wasn't trying to lose the weight. I've been right around 10% BF for many years. I've been 200-215 lbs from age 20-45+. Then within a couple of months of starting drinking 1 qt. of green tea a day I lost 10-15 lbs. Family, friends and coworkers started asking if I was losing weight. So I got on the scale and I"m down to 188 lbs. I have't weighed that since I was 17.
In my opinion, if you are trying to lose weight and are not drinking 4-8 servings of green tea a day, you should be. It is the most healthy drink you can put in your body, and tasty as well.
