In an ongoing effort to fully understand what makes a person gain fast, and one that takes slower, I have taken it upon myself to understanding the three body types, which are Ectomorphs, Mesomorphs, and Endomorphs and to see if it might have a connection to PE gains, seeing that PE, at least indirectly, is related to fitness, what I wanna know from the PE fitness buffs is, has your body type correalated with the amount of time it took you to gain, say if you are a fast gainer in the gym, does the same apply to your PE? For those that are new are fairly new to PE(like myself)but have seen sufficient gains at a fairly fast pace and/or are fitness buffs does it correlate to what you do when you pump iron? I will list each of the following body types and the description of a person with each respective body type.
Ectomorph
These guys are usually the guys that can eat 6 cheeseburgers and not gain a single pound
-Remarkably fast metabolism
-Narrow Shoulders
-Tall and skinny
-Long arms and legs
-Usually finds it difficult to put on fat or muscle, typically known as "hard gainers"
Mesomorph
These guys are your classic atletic looking ones, the lean and muscular peole typically seen in fitness magazines. Mesomorphs are usually reffered as "genetically gifted"
- Broad shoulders
- V-shaped torso
- Thick skin
- Finds gaining muscle fairly easily, while at the same time finds it fairly easy to burn fat
Endomorph
These are the big linemen that you see in the NFL, and alot of bodybuilders, such as Ronnie Coleman possess this bodytype. These guys find it very hard to burn fat.
-slow metabolism
-Broad shoulders
-wider waist than the other two body types
-Gains muscle easily, but finds it difficult to burn fat
-soft, flabby skin
NOTE: It is possible for an individual to possess a combination of bodytypes. Me for example, am a Meso-Endomorph. I have a V-shape torso, but I find it excrusiatingly difficult to burn fat.
I have kept in mind that, while PE and fitness are somewhat similar, are quite different and that different variables are at play when one does PE. Like the fact that bodybuilding is working the skeletal muscles, and that PE expands cells and works the smooth muscle, all Im trying to do is to see whether body type, has the same reaction to PE as it does to working out your skeletal muscles. I think it might be interesting to see where this goes
