  • You Do Not Want Me On Your Rowing Team.

So treadmills and walking have been taking a toll on my knees. Stationary bicycling kinda outs a lil pressure on my testes. Elliptical though gets the heart pumping is just too mundane.

Then I came across an article about rowing. It said that it takes some stress off of the joints because you are not in a stationary position. You are constantly in motion. Today I did a thirty minute session, that is what I set the timer to on the rowing machine. About six minutes the first sweat beads start to break out. Approximately eleven minutes in there is a puddle of sweat between my legs. Six minutes and some change left, I was ready to give up. I pushed through.

I must say it did get the heart rate up and I will do them more in the future for my cardio day. That is if this is considered a cardio workout.

Also does anyone do or have experience with the 5x5 workouts? Would it be beneficial to an old bird like me?

Foghorn Leghorn on the USC rowing team. Now that’s a pic for the ages.
A prayer, is kinda the same as a "Like". If there are enough likes, God will take notice. So "Like" away please. My daughter needs your prayers. Thank You.

Mobility is key; look into whatever is needed to assure you can walk. You have a future to plan for.

As long as I have the proper funds to secure that position.

Now I say boy! That would be something to see. Bleach wouldn’t be able to clean that sight out of the eyes.

Maybe we can sponsor you and you can wear like a NASCAR like jumper with PEGym patches and logos all over the jumper...just please do not wear spandex shorts outside over the suit, BR.
