I doubt you will find anymore crude remarks coming from my end in frustration...
Of which i admitted was uncalled for..

I've already admitted my sarcasm was inappropriate..
Of which the very next post was met with antagonistic nature..
And i'll elaborate now it's grossly unfactual and unhelpful..(I'm not excluding myself from this comment)

Name one thing he has said that remotely reasonable or a viable method that's usable in regards to fat loss in this thread.. (BTW good luck)
Apart from this which ironically is about the only thing he has ever said that will produce FAT loss. (The ironic part being he was saying it to insult me)

Now on top of that find any possible way how this is remotely plausible at 188 pounds without weight training or being at least 9 foot tall...to add to your challenge find a way of doing this with a hormone level of 250-280 (again good luck) Should be the perfect challenge as you were a pt and dietician. And your working blocks are 7 weekly hours of cardio and a clean diet. (i'll eagerly await your expert and certified opinion on this matter (Not sarcasm))

I would appreciate if you addressed both comments..The claim of losing 40 pounds of exclusively fat (In 2 months or so) with exclusively using cardio and not counting calories.. and the 10-12% bf at 188 pounds.. (Maybe your expert opinion is superior to my amatuer knowledge)
In fact would you mind extending this to include men with healthy levels..(Let alone low borderline deficiency)
I'm genuinely interested as you are well studied in this area..(Maybe i will learn something)..

This isn't part of my original post?
    However

    This is good information..
If FAT loss (and please acknowledge im saying fat and not weight) is your main goal adding ANY type of weight training (even just pushups) will increase your bodies ability to burn calories (long term) infact any method that promotes muscle gain will always be the first recommendation. Not just burn them on a short term basis (cardio)
Cardio aids the effects of fat loss ONLY when combined with an astute diet. The diet being the far more crucial element between the two. Which is what i've been trying to tell you for 3 pages now..It directly results in burning extra calories (cardio) so it's easier to maintain a deficit when accompanied with dieting..
There are PLENTY of other reasons to do cardio but fat loss should be the last reason.. as it's an AID and ONLY effective whilst dieting..( Talking specifically about using it to lose fat)
However any strength or muscle building regime will always be considered (Currently) the most optimal and sustainable method at long term FAT loss even more so if you're looking for a long term solution to maintain the results..

It's true it can be achieved through dieting alone..
And most people (on a professional level) would recommend doing this at a rate of 1kg (2.2 pounds) maximum a week so there is no risk of muscle loss among many other reasons..
I'm not saying it cant be done quicker but it would surprise me if it could be done much quicker without SOME muscle loss.

This is the nutritional information on methanol

This is 90+% pure alcohol so i'm not sure with this one what your on about..

Again not once mentioned i endorse or partake in a high sugar diet..

Again i didn't make this claim however suggested i would be excused if i were to be.. (But what do doctors know)

And once again i'm still not sure where your getting this information?
I've never once mentioned my diet consists of processed foods or high levels of sugar..
Feel free to quote ANYTHING i have ever said that relates to any of these dietary claims..
I don't mind being held accountable by quotes i find it keeps me accountable and honest..
methanol is deadly(or makes you go blind) alcohol

ethyl alcohol is what people drink

breakdown of sugars by yeasts. It is made from plants and grains such as corn, wheat, barley. ..

it's just eating scoops of sugar with extra steps...

I all ready told you I have not lost any muscle mass... I have been documenting with photos I compared this year(aug 2020) to last year(2019 Aug) i only got one photo from 2018 though ... Yeah i will make a thread once i completely get rid of the fat there is not much left with in about 90 days or so the rest should be gone .

the only time significant changes happened in when I dropped the sugar and started the walking >jogging then riding my bike ( for me that is more effective then the jogging or walking)

that is when i was shedding the fat very quickly.

yeah of course my weight will go down but that is normal, if it did not i would not be getting rid of it?

this is not magic where you can turn mush into muscle...

I all ready told you I have not lost any muscle mass..
Just to be clear in the 2-3 months it took you to lose 40 pounds of fat you didn't lose any muscle during this time with next to deficient testosterone levels?
I'm just trying to get your specifics here..
How many months exactly did you lose 40 pounds in..or weeks?
And you are currently sitting at 10-12% body fat at 188 pounds?
Can i ask your height please?
      And age?
Exclusively using cardio and diet for this method?
Furthermore you alleviated all sugars? Including glucose? or just processed sugars? or added sugars?
How many hours of cardio is included in walking>jogging and a bike ride weekly or daily is fine?
Did you count the amount of calories you were eating?
      Or was eating healthy enough?

Can i get anyones thoughts on this article with posted references to doctors and elite health trainers?

218 > 188 pounds is 30 pounds in 3 months.. it's bouncing 185 to 189 as of now (i'd assuming this is water weight as i keep drinking a lot about 2-3 liters a day since it's pretty hot ,it's been getting into 100-110's)
the weight seems to have stabilized... 185 was my target weight....

And you are currently sitting at 10-12% body fat at 188 pounds? that is the estimate I see bones I had not seen before but that is where the jiggly fat was before. was mostly concentrated to the chest area stomach area & inner thighs ... as of now it's mostly concentrated to the stomach area.. about ¾" of fat layer.. like right where the ab's are (this is a pretty common issue for most people anyway "normally the last to go")... most of my muscle mass is concentrated below the waist..
Can i ask your height please? 5'10
        And age? 32
Exclusively using cardio and diet for this method? lift weights maybe 2 times a week for 15min or so
Furthermore you alleviated all sugars? Including glucose? or just processed sugars? or added sugars? just processed sugars and added sugars,( I watch the carbohydrates I try to keep it at 75 or less a day )
How many hours of cardio is included in walking>jogging and a bike ride weekly or daily is fine? about 2 hours 05min per day on average.. i would do it more maybe 3 hours if it was not so damn hot. i don't want to get burned..
Did you count the amount of calories you were eating? no i did it for a little while but it became a waste of time...
Or was eating healthy enough? yeah home cooked meals no processed to minimal processed foods.. i did get take out sometimes..

butter was my new best friend ... lol

I'm not trying to disagree with anything here, I'm just stating some facts about me as comparison.

Thick_Unit, we are the same age, same height and same weight (I'm currently 186.2 lbs). I do more exercise and cardio than you do per week (weights). I also have a more strict diet regarding sugars and carbs. You do more walking/jogging than me because I agree it's too damn hot lol. And we both do home cooked meals with no processed foods. However, my BMI is roughly 26.3 which is more than double what yours is. Is there something I'm missing?

          Here's my current specs:
          32, 5'10", 186.2 lbs

          BMI: 26.3
          Fat: 24.9%
          Water: 42.6%
          Muscle: 31.7%

I am glad guys are paying attention to exercise and diet . It does not matter if that is cardio or weights or what . measuring one sort of training against another can be an oranges to apples thing anyway .

BMI and bf% are 2 separate measurements..
10-12% bf is close to an olympic athlete...
                His calculated BMI is 27.1

I also eagerly await his expertise on the matter..

Okay but my fat % is still 24.9 or is that something different too? Now I will throw out this disclaimer, I'm using a scale that has those metal plates that "scan your body" to tell you these things so I'm sure it's just a slide scale measurement for all these stats. I even weighed the same exact weight a few days in between and all the measurements were exactly the same.

Scales that has those metal plates that "scan your body" are NOT accurate at all.

I agree but do you think that they would be THAT off to be more than double?

More than double would be insane...But the mirror and your 2 fingers grabbing your belly fat would be more accurate.
If you want a way to measure your fat more accurate then take a skinfold caliper.

So, just to get caught up, we are trying to assess Unit's bodyfat% by comparing his guesstimate of 10-12% with Burrito's scale's estimate of his bodyfat%?

                                This is silly, guys.

My guess is, Unit is underestimating his bodyfat%. I'm 6'0" tall. I'm 42 years old. I weigh ~187 lbs. I just busted out my old calipers and did a quick and dirty three-fold check (not the most accurate, but it'll work for this), and my bodyfat came out to 19.8%.

Now, I'm a bit taller than both Unit and Burrito, and I don't really know their builds. For example, if Unit is carrying around a LOT more mass in his biker thighs than I am, it's possible his bf% is lower than mine, but 10-12% is unlikely in my opinion. 16-18% would seem more likely, but again that all depends on his build. In Burrito's case, I agree with everyone that the scale is not accurate, but it is a decent way to see a trend. My guess is he's closer to 20-22%, but again I'm talking out of my ass without being able to see his build.

Whatever the case, it's all conjecture until they pony up for a DEXA or at least buy some calipers. And the truth is, they both seem to be in a better place health wise now than they were several weeks or months ago, so congrats, gentlemen!
