  • Tribulus

I went to my GNC today and bought some Tribulus, along with more L-Arginine and multiviatimins. Supposedly, Tribulus can raise testosterone production, and, improve bloodflow to the gentitals. Gonna give it a try and see how I do with it, has anyone else used Tribulus before?

Yea, I've used Pink magic and prime before... I;m so sure about prime.. but pink magic did seem to increase libido and I got stronger every week or so. It also made me more aggressive. Actually Prime's made me pretty aggressive too.And both of them made some of my muscles seem denser. I'm not so sure about libido aspect with prime though, because when i started taking it, I was just coming out being depressed for 2 months after a breakup. so that may have skewed my perception. But just like any other product, it works for some, and doesn't work for other. Worth a shot though. But I've decided to stay away from those thing. It was just a phase I was going through where I wanted to put on mass no matter what and I wanted try out every supplement out there. Also make sure if you decide to continue to take tribulus, you cycle on and off it. Like take it for a month, then stop for a month. It's mostly so you don't screw with your body's natural ability to produce testosterone. There is a chance It might get dependent on tribulus.

i've used it with fairly good results. basically it does the same thign as taking a very very low dose of steroids. it just makes your body produce them internally.

I've taken it and its ok. It does help increase test - once nice side affect as m balls would get really relaxed and hang low within an hour after taking it.

Interesting. Yeah Im pretty excited to see how it will turn out using it for the next 4 weeks, with regard to both fitness and as a PE supplement.

Do people use tribulus long term or is it something to be used in cycles?

I would be interested to know how it works exactly. The problem with a substance that just boosts testosterone is that, unless you have a problem with your ability to produce testosterone production signalling hormones or your testes' ability to produce testosterone, the body has likely set your testosterone at the level it is optimised to maintain. Unless it is acting to block the feedback mechanisms your body will indirectly measure your testosterone and upon finding it is has risen above the optimum level would reduce its own production accordingly - putting you back at square one.

I don't have experience with it, but just a thought.

Every supplement I take, I cycle - I rarely use as directed by just CONSTANTLY taking it every single day. Give your body at least two weeks to detox, then start again. As with (almost) anything you introduce INTO the body (this doesn't apply to prescribed meds - if you must take daily, TAKE DAILY!), it will naturally attempt to adjust and consequently form a tolerance. By cycling, you help keep the affects and benefits of the supplements at high levels. Has worked great for me so far.

                Tribulus certainly increases my libido.

I have have got into the habit of taking it 5 days on ~ 2 days off, not sure if this is necessary or not as I have read conflicting info.

Gives me slightly worse skin but that doesn't bother me.

The rep at the heatlh store recommended the Pink Magic. Haven't taken it yet. I've also taken Tribulus in the past. I've noticed that my eq is once again low, maybe 60%. This is probably the same eq percentage I started at when I first started pe 6 months ago. For a brief 4 - 5 weeks it was climbing. I've been looking on the web and checking out testosterone replacement therapy. The only drawback is it seems to be really expensive. My HMO will not prescribe cause my levels are 400, which they claim is normal. I've been reading and have discovered that this is in the low range of normal. I take a variety of vitamins, including DHEA, fish oils, multiple, vitamin D and I drink erection tea throughout the day. The physical workouts have been good and the pe has been consistant? Any suggestions?

From memory Tribulus increases Luteinizing hormone and DHEA.

In males LH stimulates Leydig cell production of testosterone ~ so if someone is/was susceptible to bad skin/breakouts, this could make it worse.

This is just my thoughts on it - could be wrong & also the skin thing is only mild on me.

I've used it and it worked for me and very well. At first though I thought It didn't work at all, but I was taking 750mg about 5 times a day every day without cycling it which was probably a mistake. I then tried 1000mg 1-2 times a day in cycles and had much better results. Only side affect ive noticed is that sometimes if you take it late during the day it may cause sleep issues.

Interesting stuff - gonna do some research on that. I'm on my off cycle right now so I want to get the scoop before I start up again.

testosterone causes all kinds of things to happen in your body. it increases sweat and oil production in the skin - can make your face oily and lead to breakouts. i've never had trouble with tribullus, but when i was on testosterone for 12 weeks i got about 3 pimples. i never got much acne during puberty either tho. if you did, you might get a few pimples from this.
