  • Question for those with medical training (wrist injury)

Severely sprained wrist vs fractured Scaphoid, would one be able to lift up and support their body weight (such as grabbing the egde of your chair and pushing yourself up) if the Scaphoid is injured towards the tip of the Radius? I've broken my wrists enough times to know this hurts much more than a broken wrist should, just never had a sprained wrist or broken Scaphoid to really know. Little to no pain when pushing/pulling the hand parallel to the arm, a fair amount of pain when rotating the wrist up and to both sides, but a massive amount of pain paired with limited range of movement when rotating it down. Even worse with a clenched fist vs open palm.

Man I wish I had an answer for you, how did you injure yourself?
