Do you guys know a good facial routine you can do every day -for healthy skin and a better-looking face-?

You could do a google search on rosacea maybe? Might help, it's a condition which causes a reddening of the skin, particularly the face and cheeks.
    Starting:9-8-2011
    BPEL: 8 in.
    MEG: 6.25 in.
    BPFL: 6.5 in.
    FL: 5.5 in.
    BPFLS: 9 in>(!!)

    11-3-2011:
    BPEL: 8.562 in. (8+9/16)
    MEG: 6.375 in.
    NBPEL: 7.75

I know rosacea exists, but there are no cures for it except laser threatment but i think that's too expensive and unhealthy (I already did some google searches) .. However i thought perhaps someone knows a natural way to lighten the redness?

some astringents might help a little if its just minor reddening and not true rosacea?

its minor reddening .. But i hate it cause it gives you a shy, unconfident look ..
i'm sorry i don't understand astringents, english isn't my mother language .. i'll see if I can find a translation

Edit: you mean like cleansers for your face? I don't think that works cause it are actually veins under your skin, it's not the skin itself

If it is rosacea a doctor can give you a prescription for doxycycline 100mg 3 times a day for 30 days and it helps out greatly.

astringents are the exact opposite of vasodialtors....they constrict blood flow through veins...whicthazel is a good natural topical astringent that comes to mind right off hand...rubbing alcohol is too by is very drying...

@CUSP82, do you have experiences with rosacea? is the product your mentioning expensive? only for 30 days? what does it do?

@Grendel08 I live in belgium. I don't think i can get the products you've mentioned out here. Thanks for the responses though

Rosacea is an inflamatory process. A particular enzyme is released which causes the condition. A low dose of doxycycline 2-3 times per day has a very goood anti imflamatory effect by preventing the formation of this enzyme which makes the "redding" much less noticeable. There is no cure for it but using that med does a great deal to lessen it and make the times that it gets more pronouced less often. The drug is not expensive but you must go to the doctor!
