  • A blister, then wound

Two weeks ago, a small blister appeared on the left side of my penis, approximately in the middle of the unit. Not long after, it became a small wound. After that, new blisters appeared, and then new wounds. Now I have 5 small wounds on my penis. I smeared them with a cream that contains antibiotics, but they still do not heal. Also, a lump appeared on my left groin. I read that it occurs with infections.
I will definitely go to the urologist, but I wonder if anyone has had similar symptoms?

My wife has no symptoms. I wonder if it is possible that I caused it by skin irritation due to dry jelqing or is it something else.

Is there any correlation you can ascertain between any activity and the blister(s)? What do you suspect?
I would think the first thing a doctor is going to ask is what has been going on there ?

In the meantime, I received an email from a urologist that the symptoms were reminiscent of herpes. An additional symptom is a lymph node in the groin. There is no cure for herpes, but the symptoms can be controlled with the help of ointments.

I've had lymph node flare ups that caused hard nodes on the shaft, swelling of the shaft and area around my sac. Took several weeks up to a month for things to calm down. Rest for now, don't worry, don't use and let it heal.

Thank you, amigo. Today I'll see what the doctor will say. I have an appointment.
