Inguenal Hernia

I have been diagnosed with an inguenal hernia which requires surgury. Any feedback from members would be appreciated as far as sexual function goes. I seem to have reduced erection quality and lasting times after this has happened.

It's been 20 years since but I recall the pain being pretty intense at times, enough so that engaging the surrounding muscles made erections pretty uncomfortable.

The general guidelines as per Google for recovering from an inguinal hernia surgery is 2 weeks for normal activities and no strenuous activities for 4-6 weeks.

Thanks for the response guys, it doesn't bother me pain wise as of now but after surgery might be a different story. I do strength training so it only makes sense to have it fixed. Maybe in two months time I can get back in the gym.
