I'm already fairly in shape now, I was just more focused on improving my cardio consistency, and making ends meet in my nutritional needs. I could give a good guess, or at least refer to my friends and see what they think as well. And no problem, I'm all for progress pics, it's just like a pat on the back for me when I hit that milestone.

Be it PE, or just your general health.

It appears you're making the best of your situation though.
You are lucky for that much. Some days I don't even eat the food that is made for dinner because of how bad it would be for me and don't even eat much that night so I can lose weight. I am only doing what I can, that is for sure.

I don't even want to know what mine is because I bet it is between 30% and a septic tank of lard.

      • You should watch some youtube videos on it.. there are plenty.. some with have advice that may be bad and others may be very good.. the more you watch the better idea of it you will get. Also pay attention to the results people are getting with their particular diet.. and don't take advice from guys that are on steroids as their exercise and nutrition needs are way different than those of natural men. I like to watch a youtube channel called twinmuscleworkout.. some might find them extremely annoying and others extremely entertaining but their advice is generally pretty good and what I like about them is they try new things and admit when they did something wrong or not as good as it could have been in the past. They are 37/8 yr old twins that are pretty jacked and ripped naturally(no roids, hgh, prohormones) although they do take supplements such as creatine and protein and whatnot. They are currently on a diet where they only eat from 2-8 Pm and fast for the rest of the day and they visibly have had good results and claim while they're shedding fat while at 8% or lower bodyfat right now, they don't feel like they're losing strength or muscle mass which is hard to do at such a low bodyfat percentage... and they're losing more fat and say they feel great. They have some meal example videos as well but it just shows you what they're eating not how to prepare it. Other videos go into a little more depth on prep of the food and you can always google how to bake chicken or cook it in strips with a little oil(not soybean or vegetable(is soybean oil) oil). With a little research cooking none of the stuff I mentioned is difficult and with the turkey I meant deli turkey. Even if you don't have a lot of money to spend you can still eat pretty clean and healthy.. just use the internet to learn more. You'll get better with time and more knowledge.. it helps though if you take a genuine interest in it though like I have. And trust me it's not always easy.. sometimes I just don't feel like making food and get subway or jimmy johns or worse chicken wing delivery.. which is more expensive than making it myself.. but I bounce back and like you said a bad for you treat or meal once or twice a week is fine. If you do try to find out more good luck and if you come across something and have a question feel free to ask me or anyone else in the net or in real life that you think could help.

        • I forgot..try to drink water from non bpa plastic bottles only or better yet out of real glass. If you buy bottled water stop and buy a few BPA free water bottles and that will save lots of money in the long run.

While the fasting is probably a good idea, I am pretty sure they have been doing stuff like that for a long time and know what they are doing, while I am just doing this to get rid of a lot of excess weight and might be a bit too extreme for me. Although I really should put more work into researching all of this and trying a little more in the food area to understand it and doing more for it.

My bottle of water is just a normal bottle of commercial water (like Dasani and that sort) that I use over the course of 2-6 months.....no, I don't wash it. I like to be able to carry it around in my pocket and they fit perfectly, although BPA free (note: I have no idea what it is, just that it is bad for some reason or another) is better I just find them more cumbersome.

Yes, I am a complicated fellow.

BPA is a xenoestrogen aka it acts like estrogen in the body and is much more potent than the phytoestrogens in soy. BPA has been linked to hormonal imbalances that in men can cause weight gain, infertility, development of breast tissue, and certain cancers.. you should really consider BPA-free. If you continue to ignore your diet and stuff like BPA free you are going to have a much higher chance of developing cancer before you're 50. During High School although i ran cross country and track and was in great shape and got 4-5 servings of fruit a day I ate a ton of processed food and drank from plastic water bottles that were bottled water bottles many times daily.. at age 19 I had developed cancer. Now it's always your choice but you should be aware of these dangers. 1 in 3 women and 1 in 2 men in the US will have cancer during their life.. America has one of the highest rates of cancer in the world due to poor lifestyle and so much food loaded with preservatives and things that knock hormones out of balance.

On their fasting they have only been doing it two weeks.. they got their plan here: The Leangains Guide | Intermittent fasting diet for fat loss, muscle gain and health

Here is them: Intermittent Fasting Leangains Martin Berkhan - YouTube; Cutting Update Intermittent Fasting "Natural Bodybuilding" - YouTube

                    • Well I had no idea that BPA is that bad, guess I will have to pick up something better for me then and look into this fasting thing at least a little bit.

Might as well look into things like that and if I find something that works for my weird comfort then I might as well.

                      • Heat was crazy today so no exercising and I ate pizza. Definitely not the healthiest thing today.

In all honesty after I got out of the hospital I haven't been all that keen on exercising for some reason, even though I have had the last two weeks of free time because I am not allowed to work right now. Maybe part of it was the end of my sex buddy relationship I had going too, which has had it's odd effects on me for some reason.

                        • Things are starting to look up. I am pretty sure I have some sort of depression and am taking steps towards getting help with that. I met someone, long distance again and her situation is certainly not normal, but we both think this may work and if not then we had fun anyways. I actually did some exercising today, since I needed to run errands and this is what it looked like. I took it easy for just getting back into it. Cycling: 0:25:00 || 3 mi (+36 pts) 0:25:00 || 3 mi (+36 pts) 0:08:00 || 1 mi (+10 pts) Barbell Bench Press: 73 lb x 15 reps (+54 pts) 73 lb x 10 reps (+51 pts) 73 lb x 10 reps (+51 pts) Barbell Squat: 73 lb x 10 reps (+44 pts) 73 lb x 5 reps (+38 pts)

                            • Well I shall try. I am trying to get my sleep schedule under control again. This depression hit my sleep and I feel tired even after sleeping for 10+ hours and I don't like that.

                              • Well Cusp it looks like you should kick my ass. I haven't done pretty much anything, and I mean anything with exercise, work, or much of anything else, in a month since I got out of the hospital, although the one thing that has happened is that I met someone.

Try anything to get me moving. I think I need some sort of medication to help me with some of these things finally.
