Then your issue might be down to recent trauma. In any case , start running, eat your veg ,try and get over your recent stress.

Chemically rice is pretty much the same as straight sugar. In any significant quantity they are unhealthy and fattening. Also, if you are much overweight be careful running as you can damage knees or ankles.

I just wanted to say I've never seen anyone drink that much water a day. I'm not saying it is unhealthy (I wouldn't know) but I'd be sure to recheck the sources that made you believe it is. As a reference, the recommended intake for an average male is estimated to be above 2 liters.

Ohhh... I didn't realize you were from India. Okay that does change things. Camaro, let me think on this for a few days. There are some cultural things that I don't know about, so shooting things back and forth will be an opportunity for me to learn, too.

Nacho - nuts, seeds, beans, pasta are all calorie rich foods that I eat in generous proportions. seriously. I'll eat a pound of rice-pasta in one sitting. Oh, I'll also have LOTS of sauce on it that I'll add oils to.
A salad for me is a big ordeal. People make fun of me all the time because I'll carry a huge bowl of food wherever I go. I'll eat things like buckwheat (high calories) with nuts, seeds, oils and lots of greens. That will last me for a good portion of the day. It's high in nutrients and high calories so the hunger doesn't last too long.
There's no accident to maintaining my weight. I just have a good understanding on what I'm doing and what's going on inside my body.

Camaro, you guys eat lots of carbs (things like rice and wheat) and lots of oils, don't you? What does a breakfast look like in your house?

Im pretty sure i read somewhere that the acidic properties in apples help burn fat; especially if you follow a meal with eating one.

                      whats you body fat %?

7-keto will help you burn fat. But, if you are going to take that, you better make sure you are working out intensely. Otherwise your body may respond negatively.

Supplements are to be taken to supplement a diet and exercise routine. So, do it right or don't do it. Read about 7-keto though. I have taken it before, it's legit. Just make sure you don't buy any proprietary blends. Spend the money, get the third party tested stuff. Better supplements, more expensive, but better results.

No, oatmeal in the morning for me ( no oil there ) and what's called a ragi ball and curry in the evening(No oil as well). The chapatis were a stop gap till the flour was milled.

The only oil might be the bit used to make eggs with.

Right now there is a severe drought, and the prices of fruits and vegetables has more than doubled.

I don't know my fat%.I think it is like 14-15%.

Not bad. I started eating right and implemented cardio in my workouts and went from about 14% to sub 8% bf in less than 6 months. Granted there were outside factors that i got up to that percentage of bf and now im back to my ideal weight.

If you want to loosing the weight, then you should apply diet plan such as drink more and more water, eat green vegetables and fruits, Eat a whole protein source with each meal like beef, poultry, fish, dairy, etc. The main thing that you should drink black or green tea which can help to loosing weight.

You need to eat more times a day to speed up metabolism, oatmeal in the morning is good take carbs in before afternoon have some fruit afternoon have chicken and some green veg followed by a snack of fruit again then for dinner tuna salad or something like that and then have an omelette later on few hours before sleep nobody needs 8 liters of water a day cut it down to two or three
