The Convict conditioning program has six compound exercises. Each has ten steps increasing in difficulty. The final step has a certain rep range - Ex 100 one arm pushups, called the elite standard.I want to know if anyone has hit it.Cause I'm TNT, I'm Dynamite :boxing::aikido:

Most people have never heard of convict conditioning, let alone know what the big 6 are let alone attempted to do them.
A ;ot of these things are as much about learning the exercise as anything else .

There are a few on the forum who do it.Some have read the book ( Pad ).I am a little suspicious as many claim to be progressing well but i have not heard of anyone who has achieved the ultimate standard of the six moves.Cause I'm TNT, I'm Dynamite :boxing::aikido:

With the rep ranges Wade has, and the progression of certain steps, it's basically impossible to reach the elite level without modifying the programme.Originally posted by camaro View PostThere are a few on the forum who do it.Some have read the book ( Pad ).I am a little suspicious as many claim to be progressing well but i have not heard of anyone who has achieved the ultimate standard of the six moves.

I disagree. It takes practice and that just takes time. It would be impossible in a short time if you rush it, but take your time with it and you'll get there.Originally posted by Padawan787 View PostWith the rep ranges Wade has, and the progression of certain steps, it's basically impossible to reach the elite level without modifying the programme.
Like the person who learns to play guitar. He may look at Beethoven's fifth and say, that's impossible to play on guitar. Over time, with practice and the right principles, he will get there. It just takes dedication.
I'm not sure why anyone would want to get to 100 1-armed pushups unless you're actually IN jail and have nothing better to do. That would be a full body workout and would take a long time to complete. I'd be happy with the intermediate standard or even just 1 perfect 1-armed pushup.
