Pretty stoked, I pushed up 235lbs today! That's 10lbs over my old record! My goal was to get to 250 by mid June. - Not bad for 180lb old man! hehe

Strength is traditionally measured with 1 full range rep.

I always make sure I come all the way down to the chest(without bouncing) and up and lock out.

Try doing some incline benches; great for the upper pecs! And keep working!

I used to bench 250 but now nothing at all my shoulder is damaged

but I still do dumbell curls

                    How much ya'll curl?

I stick with the 40s for stamina and the 70s for bulking out when I am working out

Trepan, that's great man keep up the hard work. I suggest you stop locking out at the top of your benching, it takes the stress off of your chest and places it on your triceps. The only time I ever lock out is on the last rep or to rest for one more rep.
Whatever you do do NOT neglect your back in your quest for a bigger bench, it is mandatory as you put up more weight. Congrats on your new 1RM.

                            Try some Dumbbell Presses.

They will build up your stabilizer muscles and help you're Bench!

Yeah,... incline dumbell, cable crossovers and flat bench are my 3 main chest routines.... I sprinkle in some other stuff when I feel the need to mix it up. So far, it's giving me very good results!!
