  • Need some kegel justification !

Okay so I'm gonna try to be as specific as possible so I can get the best answers!!

Here's a little about me I'm a 5'8 male 22 yrs old. I'm half black half Italian. I would say I'm above average below the waste lol and I don't have any penile problems (e.d, premature ejac., ect) I usually can last as long as I went in bed (85% of the time) I'm in excellent shape I've been in amazing shape all my life I ran track wrestled football I currently train mma etc. (basically don't want anyone to think I'm a slob on the couch all day)

The past month or so I've been doing kegels and some reading about kegel exercises and it seems to me the more I read the more I get confused lol basically I just wanna do some clearing up and make sure I'm doing it right.

With that said most articles that I read say a kegel is when u stop your urine flow. Now this is were I get confused, when I'm doing this should I be trying to go as deep as possible (that basement effect squeeze/ anal area) and also I'm reading I should be flaccid ? Is this true?

And lastly now what has me confused is I'm reading weighted kegels are better. But from what I see (pictures/videos/reading) u need to have a erect penis and place a wash cloth and raise ur penis up and down. Now with that said if I'm not doing a weighted kegel should I still be trying to lift my penis (flaccid or not)

To sum it all up I just wanna know if I'm doing regular kegels correct (how I should I be squeezing how deep and if I should be lifting my penis) lol second is if I raise my penis up and down is that still a kegel?!

If you are going to do kegels, then you must do reverse kegels to balance your pelvic floor muscles and keep them strong, the links below discusses how to kegel, reverse kegel and keep your pelvic floor balanced.

When you say "Now this is were I get confused, when I'm doing this should I be trying to go as deep as possible (that basement effect squeeze/ anal area)" you are referring to the root lock, also discussed in the links above (first one to be exact), as for being flaccid, I recommend you do them flaccid, at least for now, as erect kegels are advanced, and require conditioning so you don't over work your muscles.

Also don't forget to take days off, rest is also important for your pelvic floor muscles.

Erect kegels are regarded as a little more advanced than flacid , wieghted kegels (towel raise) can be a lot more advanced depending on weight used.
