Its rubbish, dont worry about it, those studies were only shown in vitro, its not proven in humans from what I know.

Green Tea is arguably the single most important herb/supplement that a human can take. The benefits are so far reaching I would suggest the only more beneficial thing a human could do than drink green tea would be to exercise consistently.

Benefits of green tea can be found here

    WHFoods: Green tea

When tehy were doing those studies they were using a soiy caveate with the green tea., the soy rendered the testosterone boosting effect of green tea. So when they tested it again w/o soy green tea substantially raised testosterone.

I have just had an interesting experience with green tea, which I have been drinking for almost two years now. I fell off my "no coffee" wagon and drank mostly coffee for the first couple of weeks this month. My EQ dropped during the same time period. A few days ago, I went back to my green tea diet. Now, of course, we can say that the effects are not causal, but I immediately noticed better EQ with much more frequent plump penis episodes.

I'm back on the coffee wagon. I (and my penis) have missed that amazing brew.

I have great interest in green tea's benefits for hair loss. I have read that it can stop hair loss, yet the primary cause of it - DHT attacking follicles - is increased by drinking it? I don't understand it at all.

Like many of natures wonderful products, puny human brains can only guess at the magic that mother nature has created.

There is often no explanation of why something does what it does. Although green tea is extensively researched, that is for sure.

Take maca for example. There is very limited understanding of why it provides the benefits it does.

I've read some theories about green tea in hair loss over the last few days - supposedly by increasing the level of testosterone in the body, this reduces the amount of "free" DHT in the bloodstream (which is what binds to and destroys the hair follicles). I've heard people say that their hair loss slowed down when they did a lot of exercise and weight training, which is based on the same principle of increasing testosterone so that the DHT falls.

I have heard from my dr that raising your testerone too much can actually cause your penis too shrink n I think I have experienced shrinking from l tyrosine or so i am not a big believer in taking anything other then a multi vitamin

Hair loss is genetic programed in your DNA. This is why my brother is losing his hair and I am not. Even though I take more after my dad but my DNA says I get to keep my hair.

I keep my hair very short anyways #1 attachment(1/8 Inch)

DHT is made up by the guys losing it, just so they have something to blame it on.

Green tea contains 5-ar inhibitors which means it lowers your dht (good for prostate and hairloss bad for everything else) although not in a significant amount. Less conversion of test to dht via 5-ar enzymes = more testosterone, but dht is a powerful androgen, many say even more than testosterone.

I drink Matcha nearly every day, and it's a much more concentrated form of green tea. My last blood test says my testosterone is still in the higher range (i turned 30 this year).
