Caffeine addiction is a cycle in my life, I drink about 8-12 sugar-free red bulls a day and 6-8 coffees after a while I get bored of the 4-5 hours of sleep and quit cold turkey(takes a lot of willpower but is easily done) then after about 2-3months I think "what the hell? One can won't hurt" then I go back to the above stated amount and the cycle repeats again. However my family is full of people with addictive genes and relapses are common. At least it's not as bad as opiates and alcohol right? With enough willpower I think you'll be able to stick it.
On a side note I am currently on caffeine.
