I take propecia and I feel your pain. Like you I want to retain my looks as long as possible but I have very fine hair so when it started thinning (in my head at least) I had to do something. I've been on it for probably two years and minox for a good while longer.

I think my dick did shrink not massively and since using the bathmate I am becoming more of the few it never shrank at all but my EQ went right down. I've never been impotent and my orgasms never suffered or libido really but the raging hardons I have managed in my progress pics wouldn't have been rare without edging and pumping.

It's a very personal thing some guys wouldn't put their hairline over their sex life others would. Personally at 30 odd with young kids and a pretty limited sex life and no intention of playing away I thought it was a gamble worth taking. If I was single like you I would probably come of propecia. can't you use minox?

Never been on this stuff, and certainly never will after reading this. I used to use minoxidil, but stopped because it makes hair sticky and ugly.
I now use natural methods, like aloe vera or ricin oil on the hair. Check these natural methods (you can find about that on the internet), I believe they really are effective

Never used the stuff but suffered with receding hair line. My wife got tired of me bitching about it and she told me to just shave it off. That was about 3 years ago and I still shave it once or twice a week. Being bald is still fashionable, and being good looking and rocking a smooth dome is a sign of confidence. So, I would encourage you to give it a try. Worst case, is you grow back what you have in a couple of months. Letting go of the hair is tough, but once on the other side, its no big deal. I think a full bald head is more attractive than a horse shoe or bald spot. But I may be personally influenced in that opinion.

So im considering coming off this crap


Been on it for close to a year now. It definitely slowed down hair loss. My hair line is pretty ok ... and im almost 6'3 so if standing you don't see the top of my head much lolz

but this drug has significantly lowered my base girth, flaccid girth, and penis's ability to repair itself from any decent pe session

the Corpus spongiosum is especially effected at the base. and the CCs on the lower part of my dick feel like they don't get blood like they should, are exhausted or something .. I know its because of this drug. ive barely been able to pe really ..

horniness is only slightly affected. I still get hard but not as much and not as much mornig wood ..

downside is im really objectively good looking right now like not to be pompous but i got my last job solely because of my looks LOL. Now im afraid to shave my head forever if i start losing hairline worse and have to look less attractive. Im 25 and single looks definitely matter

My first instinct now is to lower the dose even more to like every third day for a very small dose. and maybe consider shaving my head here next haircut just to see how bad it will look and if i can handle it ... what yall think? man this shit certainly affects way more people than it says its just you don't get it reported by doctors or the patient


Id love to hear from some people on here who take it how it has affected their pe abilities ... especially anyone who started peing before taking it so they can compare their dicks reactions

You are 6'3" and good looking, you will be fine without a full head of hair.

once you're off the drug and your liver is cleansed from it, the side effects will go away and your libido will restore. Speak to your prescribing Doctor/urologist to help you in the time being with its unwanted side effects

Not necessarily, there are many men suffering for years after taking Propecia. Many of whom only took it for a very short time.

That's what I told my doc! He acted like it was no big deal, that it's not a health concern losing size. But he also knew it could happen, said its a given that dht deprivation yields smooth muscle atrophy in the penis and fibrosis throughout. Same as what happens in old age when hormones naturally decline, but far more severe. With post finasteride syndrome being so widespread I can't believe these sides are not warned of.

You have to restart your balls again or your brains or both in order to start producing adequate amounts of testosterone again.

Try vitamin D3 2000 IU daily together with Phosphatidylserine 400 mg a day. Do this for several months and you'll see Improvement. These 2 supplements will start testosterone production again. However it is advised to visit a doctor, and tell him you suspect you have post Finasteride Syndrome. If he does not understand what this is, tell him it is Hypogonadism induced by Propecia use. If he still doesn't understand what you mean, look for a new doctor. Visiting an endocrinologist could also help your situation. I've been there, I suffered AAS induced hypogonadism (steroids) and still haven't fully recovered yet but I'm on my way.
