  • PE and hard flaccid

    Hi friends,

    so I’ve recently posted about hard flaccid that I’m currently dealing with and was given the advice to lay off of PE for a few weeks which I have done and currently believe I’m making progress with introducing yoga into my lifestyle and will be seeing a pelvic floor specialist hopefully next week.

    but my question is, anyone who has been dealing with or dealt with hard flaccid, have you reintroduced PE into your life? Is it ever going to be possible to get back on the horse?

    say if all the pains that accompany the HF state are gone but the hardness is still there could you do stretching? Could you use PE to bring back the great EQ that came with PE or even go back to light training?

    i don’t mean to start any issues of upsetting anyone, this is just a food for thought type of post?

      Much will depend on the cause and severity of symptoms. If symptoms are mild, then EQ friendly exercises in moderation like light jelqs should be helpful. A must would be to attempt stamina work in conjunction with whatever therapy is used to treat the cause of HF. If overwork or strain of the PF muscles are the cause of HF, then a purely therapeutic approach should be considered until the issue is manageable enough to begin introducing stamina work, etc.

        The thing that I am noticing, and it might just be that I haven’t found it yet, but there doesn’t seem to be a clear guideline with it. Like there’s not a “oh you have these symptoms so this is the cause of it” type of set up.

        when you Google an injury you can normally get close to the actual problem or when you visit a GP you can get close to the actual problem. Yet with this the main catchment appears to be as simple as saying “hard flaccid” like it’s a one shoe fits all.

        i strongly believe a major factor in my case is my pelvic floor, followed by a close second of mental mindset, I play 100 scenarios in my head.
