  • Deflated/Cold Glans - Nerve Damage?

Hey everyone. I've been dealing with a deflated glans issue since last July when I overdid it with stretches that weren't in the J90 routine because I was an overzealous noob. My fault obviously, no one needs to tell me twice. One stretch left me with a sizable red spot on my glans and the following day I noticed my glans was smaller than normal and it didn't properly fill up when I got an erection and it's usually cold. I recently tested the bulbocavernosus reflex and found that I didn't experience the spasm you're supposed to and I'm concerned that it's nerve damage. The one silver lining I have is that about a week ago I woke up with a full erection or at least one that filled the glans which was fairly encouraging. I'm also on a 90 day porn detox just to quit that shit for good (day 18 hooray).

This is just a little scary because it's hard to tell if it's a blood flow issue or a nerve issue and I don't have money or insurance for a doctor's appointment. Has anyone else who's experienced this healed?

Just leave your penis be for a while, it needs time to heal, do not test it, do not self diagnose, and do not play with it at all, if you want to do something, just don't bother it with too much attention, and apply moderate heat to promote circulation.

I recommend that you see a doctor if you can.

When you return to PE, after recovery, make sure you grip about an inch below the glans, and that you are completely flaccid, also try to ensure you are not trapping any blood in your glans while you stretch, and do not pull to hard, just enough to feel tension on your shaft.

    Good luck!

Thanks for the advice! I don't have much of a choice but to wait this out. I'd say I'm fairly calm about this but I'm still a little nervous. I won't do anything until I've completed my 90 days no porn just as a first rule of thumb but after that I'm wondering how long this will take to heal. I know a lot of people say nothing is permanent but my mind keeps jumping to the dreaded venous leak, as if maybe I did irreparable damage to my dorsal vein by jelqing too hard (my fault) or stretching too hard. Have you experienced anything like this?

Do not worry, and do not think about venous leak, that will only trouble your mind, just relax and allow your penis time, it heals when you are not putting it under the microscope, fears and self diagnosis will only make you nervous and less likely to believe signs of improvements, anxiety is not good for you.

        You are welcome.

I have a similar issue going on. Rest and relaxation are your friends in this. When I'm nervous about it or having anxiety it's like no blood flows to the region. As soon as I catch myself not thinking about it for a minute I have a normal soft and plump flaccid hang. It's Very bizarre what the mind can do to your penis. Nerves heal very slowly. Just take your time and focus on whatever else you can as much as you can.

Most people grab right behind their glans when they stretch so your placement was not incorrect. That is how all the videos show to do it as well. Probably too strong of a pull. Rest it up.

Cold glans is not nerve damage. Numb glans is nerve damage. Cold glans is circulation issues. Same with deflated glans, to a certain extent...

Resting your ding dong will heal things up.

As others have suggested, heat will improve circulation. When I suffered the same symptoms I used heat, light firegoat rolls, and light kegels to improve blood flow, to improve circulation in the glans.

I no longer suffer with cold glans.. if I don't over do things with PE.

You never slow down, you never grow old!

This is all very reassuring thank you. Based on your description and my own experience it does sound and feel like a circulation email. What worries me most is when I wake up with the occasional morning wood, my CC's can be hard as a rock but the glans is still very malleable and soft. I get a sensation when I rub it but it sort of feels duller than it used to, which is why I was wondering about nerve damage. Lightly pinching it (like a small tight pinch) doesn't really feel like anything (but maybe that's normal).

I do know that I was definitely either gripping or pulling too hard during stretches for sure. I also attempted A-stretches way too early and that I think is what did me in. I'm just wondering now how long it will take for a circulation problem to heal. It feels like it's been a while.

I also experienced hard-flaccid-like symptoms but I'm starting to think that's situational turtling from either stress or just being too cold.

                  Hey Jimmer9.
Looks like we're having the same injury. Woho!
My penis started being slightly unresponsive, but I went with it and did a PE session. Didn't get much response at all, so stopped halfway through and warmed down.
Been experiencing some hard flaccid symptoms, but they come and go, and I also get morning wood.
I've left my penis alone for the last two days, and it seems to improve, so I guess time will heal it, which sucks, as I want to continue PE'ing. But patience is key.
                  Good luck!
