Weeing in a bottle at night

Ok so i have this problem sometimes i wee in a bottle in the middle of the night any time between 3-6 in the morning because going to the toilet 4 or 5 in the morning is to far away and tiring and ruins my sleep?

I have no problem with weeing in a bottle n chucking it away in the morning ... but would people think thats disgusting...

Bear in mind i always have night time urination problems nland sleeping problems..... it takes me hours to sleep and just when i do fall asleep i need a piss but im to tired to go downstairs and walk a mile.. so i just use a bottle lying around... saves me so much hassle

Most people would find that unsettling if not downright disgusting. Is there anything you can do to fix your problem? How old are you? What is the cause of the problem?

I'd train my pelvic floor if I was you. It helps with urinary disorders of both genders.

I personally wouldn't want to sleep next to a warm bottle of piss.

I do this when I've been drinking too much so its not too gross to me, but not usually any other time.

Im 19 i dont do it all the time mainly when im too tired to go toilet... i dno the cause i have ibs but thats not related to urinatiin is it?

The thing is there are countless nights i just sleep needing u to urinate i think i have strong pelvic floor musscle otherwise wudnt i uriniate on my self?

As long as the set up is convenient and sanitary there should be no problem.

This reminds me of a rather distasteful story. A friend who I've known since we were kids once use to keep what he called a "piss cup" by his bed. This was a type of plastic cup normally dispensed at gas stations for large soda fountain drinks. He set one of these cups up by his bed and urinated into it over time until it was nearly filled.

The problem occurred when he went to dispense the cup of its contents. The plastic was fairly flimsy, so when he went to pick the nearly filled vessel up he squeezed the contents inside, and copious amounts of rancid urine splashed all over the floor rug in his room.

Funny enough, this didn't stop him from keeping these cups by his bed (for at least a year or so)- he just learned not to fill them up!

Yeah i keep mine in a lid bottle and close it tightly as soon as i finish so even if it falls it wont spill...

And LOOOOLLL that is kinda gross but hey shit happens so what can you do... i usuallly chuck my bottles away aswel but now startting to realise buyin water bottles adds up LOL

There are bottles available specifically for peeing in, my grandfather uses one. You can probably get one from a pharmacy.

Waking up in the middle of night, especially more than once can mean you have weak pelvic floor. It doesn't have to be super weak but might still be weak. Give it a try. Check out ben wa balls

Honest answer? Definitely disgusting. Even animals will not go to the bathroom where they sleep. It definitely comes across as very lazy.

First, getting up once at 4 or 5 in the morning isn't really going to ruin your sleep, if you're going to bed midnight or earlier. Your most restful sleep occurs in the first 3 hours of falling asleep.

Second, assuming you're going to at midnight or earlier, your body waking you up at 4 or 5 in the morning, may mean you've actually had enough rest. Not everyone needs 8 hours of sleep each night. Personally, I get 5 to 6 hours of sleep a night max. Try adjusting your sleep schedule so that you should be getting up by 5 am - when clearly your body wants to get up. Use this extra morning time to do other positive things - like get a morning walk in or other exercise. Heck, you can even make it your PE time.

Third, you may also want to see a physician re: the frequent urination. When was the last time you had a prostate exam? It may be nothing, but an enlarged prostate can result in a frequent need to urinate, which can be a sign of prostate cancer. It's better to be safe than sorry, in this instance, and get a medical opinion.

Either way - a bedside bottle of urine is really gross.
