We can all learn something from his passion.

I believe Mars receives a lot of sun light from the sun only a bit less thanto what earth receives. However, we are not aware of any water on Mars. Accordingly. Water seems to be more important than the sun when it comes to sustaining life.

Certain yeasts contain vitamin B-12, and fortified cereals and soy milk can also help prevent deficiencies in a vegan diet. There's also the direct supplemental form or shot.

                B12 in Plant Foods

by Jack Norris, RD | Last updated: October 2015
                Summary
In the published research, one plant food, chlorella, has been shown to have vitamin B12 activity in humans; there are caveats that you should be aware of before relying on it (see below). The only other plant food that has been tested is nori, which did not have B12 activity.
A number of foods, arguably, warrant further attention. But unless these foods are shown consistently to correct B12 deficiency, vegans should not rely on them for vitamin B12.
So i lose iq in your eyes, for posting a link of a man speaking on his OWN personal experience and research with being a completely plant based eater for years, a man who claims he is in the best shape of his life...but you post a link of words from a man who looks far worse than the man i posted who says vegans are likly deficient in b12 if they arent supplementing. I kno alot about jack norris.

I wish we as people would experience these types of things for ourselves and learn what works on our own bodies rather than relying on others to inform us on what need to do to be healthy. It leaves so much room for manipulation letting someone else tell us how to build and feed our bodies. Cancer is so prominent in the world, and it makes SO much money. It is proven that a plant based diet reduces the risk for cancer. And its proven that meaty, fatty diets raise the risk of cancer. Yet somehow docters manage to push out information that claims there is a special b12 vitamin that is ONLY found in Meat, fish and eggs. Some of the very same foods that are proven to cause cancer...im not saying it isnt true but its hard for me not to be suspicious especially when im a plant based eater, and i feel great. Im growing great. And docters need to make money, how would they make money if everyone started healing their body themselves through natural means.

With that being said, i dont supplement b12 and i dont eat any of the products that docters claim contain b12 , i eat a fully plant based diet and ive never been told i was deficient in anything other than money. Which i dont need much of these days.
                Growing. Growing. Growing. Grown. Repeat.

What I posted was a pretty well known researcher, especially in the vegan community, who full well knowing that many vegans have nutritional deficiencies was trying to find a way for them to get the nutrition they need without giving up being a vegan.

This is how ideas and conversations evolve! Fighting/ad homimems short circuits discussions. It's one of the reasons why the rules of this forum are designed for this express purpose.

                            • You can take B12 supplements.

                              • Oh yes you can take supplements but most vegans won't. You see I lived with vegans for a while and got to know them pretty well. They have always old me that they are living "natural" which could not be further from the truth and vitamin B-12 is a perfect example.

The human body was not designed by nature ( although I prefer God) to only exist on fruits and veggies. It was made to exist on all the food groups. That gives your body all that it needs. If you exclude one group and I really don't care which group you exclude you are going against nature and it will harm you down the line.
