Hello, everyone-

Today at around 10:15 am, I was riding the train to class like I do everyday, and working on a personal list. One stop, ONE STOP before I was to get off I see a pair of hands reach around my tablet and take it from me. I yelled "What the fuck?!" and gave chase, but then I had to go back for my backpack. I tried to catch him but the 40+ lbs of books and my laptop in my computer made it impossible. I ended up making a police report but the odds are I am never seeing my tablet again.

The only thing I have on it is some personal pics, documents, and downloaded porn. Nothing I need back but I would like the pics and my 128g sd card. I have already reset every possible sensitive account, and put a remote wipe, and lock on it. Still this experience was frustrating.... I can't go beat up this kid because I would be arrested, and with the racial protests today.... I have to let it go.

Jokes on him though. That piece of shit would not charge unless you wiggled the cord just right, and it probably only worth $80 TOPS. I mean it was a tablet, not a phone, and probably only worth $16-20 in a pawn shop. I ended up buying another tablet, the newer model, and spending half the day making sure this event wasn't going to fuck me over.

Wow, that kid had some balls on him. Snatch and grab in broad daylight of a shitty tablet? Either dumb or desperate. Either way, hope you could identify him. He will get his come uppings in due time.

When I was a junkie I never did anything like that, but I sure thought about it. But he probably needs help in some way, hopefully he finds it.

I was just at train station standing near a guy who talking to the police. When I realized he was reporting a crime I gave him some distance but looking back I could see one of the officers taking a pic of his phone. When my train came he got on and sat down in the seats across from me. I asked him if he had something stollen out of his hands on the train too. He said this guy tried to take his backpag but failed and he quickly took his picture.

I asked to see th pic and sure enough it was the same kid who took my phone! I still remember his face. He may have let his hair grow out and put on a few pounds of muscle but it's him.

I called the dispatch number and game them all the info I had kept on slip of paper in my wallet and am waiting to hear from the police.
