Welcome back!
Take it easy until you've regained your conditioning (plus take any precautions to avoid aggravating your surgical healing needs)- then you'll be able to accelerate your training and get back to where you were before. This should be easy due to muscle memory

Well, I forgot how much I dislike the reconditioning stage at the gym. Lots of sore stuff, makes doing things a little uncomfortable. I know it doesn't last, but it's still annoying. On the bright side, I am feeling more energetic and sleeping better, so that's great.Starting (20 JUL 2012)

More energy and sleeping better, it certainly is a good indicator. Glad to have you back here benschmidt.

Well, so far making good progress. The weight's coming off steadily, 10lbs so far. Shorts I just bought now barely fit, so I'll take that as a good sign. Strength is coming back as well. All in all, very happy with the progress so far.

I hear ya....I inevitably get nauseous after a good workout if I have not been to the gym in a while. And yes, you have to work through the soreness, which for me includes walking funny after a good squat routine.Originally posted by benschmidt View PostWell, I forgot how much I dislike the reconditioning stage at the gym. Congrats on your progress over the last month!

And time for another update! 2 months in, and I'm still happy with my continued progress! Please take note that I'm wearing the same shorts from my first picture a couple months ago. Nothing like clearly visible progress to prove it's working.

You are definitely looking lean and there is a noticeable difference between the 1st pic and the last.

Thanks, Greg! I am feeling much better, too! It's nice. I think my belly fat is going to be the last to go, my family seems to carry it there, but I will get it gone!Originally posted by gregut03 View PostKeep up the good work Ben!
