I'm not familiar with this scale but I have suffered from Prolactinoma ( Pituitary Gland Abnormality ) with levels above 3000 .

I was put on medication Caborgoline which has settled my #'s down to 5.

Before with my Prolactin high my Testosterone was at 285 & the medication turned it all around . Also some well purposeful use of Herbal supplements.

It took an MRI scan to determine I was suffering with Pituitary Gland Abnormality

You really need to get in touch with the lab who did the test and ask them what is there normal range, if you read around it changes.

If you read through this link you see they say the same.

Cabergoline is definitely an interesting drug as not only will it lower prolactin but it’s great for improving body composition and sexual enjoyment is off the charts with it.

my gp wont refer me to an endocrinologist he says it isn't high enough even though it's double over the upper limit mri didn't show any tumour,he say's just to keep an eye on it but I really want it to be in the normal range I feel this elevated prolactin my whole life could of stunted my dick growth and lack of libido/morning erections which I have never had,he just mumbled to me 'that ammount of prolactin wont do anything' but from all the googling I have done everyone say's it can have a bad effect, what do you think I should do now?

High Prolactin definitely makes for some serious Erectyle dysfunction. Unfortunately , MRI'S & a regemin of daily usage for the Medication Caborgoline costs lots of $$$$$$$$$$$.

That's why they usually don't treat you with that medication until those #'s get above 3000-4000 for Prolactinoma although your Prolactin is high and most likely giving you issues with ED & erection quality.

Sidebar , is Pegym under some kind of maintenance for the website. I can't see anyone's avatar anymore or slide back and forth to view old threads and what happened to the advertisements that's usually at the top of the page.

They usually don't even treat you with a MRI unless they are pretty sure your Pituitary Gland has a mass grown around it causing the benign tumor

Do you think my slightly elevated prolactin level could of stunted my dick as a teen? my GP said to me those levels of prolactin wont do anything.

I can tell you low levels of testosterone that GP's regard as normal and within normal range yada yada cause all sorts of problems . So I would not trust his say so.

I think my testosterone when I was 19 was 18 out of 28 when I was 26 it was 15 out of 28 and recently at 35 it was 26 out of 28,I'm just guessing that the refrence ranges were the same as my most recent test 28 being the highest but I will have to check to make sure.
