The boys and I have flu. It's really bad with temp around 39.9.
I've thought I've had flu before but I'm now thinking not... lol I look up the symptoms and they are the following (which we have everyone one and taken from the NHS website)
Flu symptoms come on very quickly and can include:
a sudden fever – a temperature of 38C or above
aching body
feeling tired or exhausteddry,
chesty cough
sore throat
headache
difficulty sleeping
loss of appetite
diarrhoea or tummy pain
nausea and being sick
The symptoms are similar for children, but they can also get pain in their ear and appear less active.
Now the Aussie strain of flu is killing people across the world so I looked up if it had any different symptoms and found this wrote.... it made me smile. Sorry if this is the ramblings of a delious person.
AUSSIE FLU SYMPTOMS:
Every time you get rid of it, it comes right back at you.
You call every one Sheila, even the Doctor.
You're too weak to ring pull open a can of Fosters.
You hope your nurse is named Kylie.
You ask for Vegemite instead of Marmite.
In the Hospital bed you shun Pyjamas and wear a thong (flip flops).
You can't understand why the NHS doesn't serve pies for Breakfast.
Anyway if you have flu take care of yourself and seek medical attention if it's getting worse.
