Very well said! To answer Mr. Robinson's question - What's going to happen? ANSWER: Greensboro will just turn into a small Chicago. It's exactly what we have here in the Windy City. Law abiding citizens follow the strictest gun laws in the country, and the gang members and other criminals are armed to the teeth.

The following video would be funny... if it weren't exactly how some people are thinking.

      https://youtu.be/JrZg4TjblXU

What's next? Hammers? Cars? People get killed by cars every single day. Maybe we should restrict those.

We need to address the CAUSE of the problem. Not just the symptom. Otherwise, there are a lot of things people can use to kill people - even mass amounts of people. A kid could poison the school cafeteria's lunch. Or drive his car through the parking lot mowing down people. When I was in junior high, a kid threw a Molotov cocktail into a (thankfully) empty classroom. Are we going to ban gasoline? How about glass bottles? Or rags?

The point is, if someone is unhinged enough to want to do something so evil as to harm others, no law is going to stop them. And, even if we waved a magic wand and got rid of all of the guns in the world, there are so many other ways they can still hurt people.

Fix the reason why these people want to commit these atrocities. Or they will continue to happen - no matter what laws we have in place.

I heard that eating carrots will eventually cause death. It is a long term threat.

        Ban carrots ?

Well a judge in California has decided that coffee must have a warning label that it may give you cancer. I heard life may give you cancer as well. They are so stupid.

Kim your last line, first you have to find the people, not that easy as you will always read, they was such a quite person and would not say boo to a goose.

There is something inside us all that just goes bang and off we could go.

Very hard to spot and stop.

Treating the root cause of deadly violence is definitely the best defense. However, that is easier said then done. In the meantime, strengthening the licensing procedures to improve the vetting process could eliminate potential abusers. Limiting magazine capacities could also reduce the number of victims at “mass” shootings. Also, These measures would not significantly interfere with rights of citizens to obtain guns to protect themselves or enjoy sport hunting.

Can anyone tell me when when we'll have enough control? The killings by guns will always happen. At what point will we stop say we have enough gun control and maybe the problem lies somewhere else?

The point isn't gun control or preventing gun-related violence, imo. It's about disarming the (peaceful) US citizenry. It's part of a very long term and mutli-pronged undermining of national sovereignty. It's purely about power. Reason and evidence are totally irrelevant to their effort to demonize guns/gun owners; suppress stories that occur nearly daily of guns saving lives; and, slowly over generations, incrementally to undermine what is a fundamental right. They will stop at nothing - including staging false flag attacks - in order to control and direct the narrative.

When ideologues come up against any point of view that the corporate news oligarchy hasn't approved of - and spoon fed them - they have been trained like poodles to label it A CONSPIRACY. So funny and so predicable. LOL.

If you believe in reason and evidence, you cannot believe that "gun control" is about reducing violence.

Not a conspiracy but rather a lust for control.I will not allow you to have a gun; I will protect you from yourself as well as protect others.
You will not buy a bottle of wine without me reminding on the label you shouldn't drink.
Do not dare pick up anything to smoke ( except pot of course; they never have a problem smoking that) because you will get cancer.
Now in California there will be a cancer label on coffee about cancer risks.

It seems like some want to control every aspect of our lives because they feel we can't do it all by ourselves. It's not a conspiracy but a reality.

40100 traffic deaths in the US last year. Something needs to be done about this!!! Cars are evil!

Funny but England has very tough gun laws. The murder rate in London now exceeds the rate in NYC and we have guns in NYC. Do you know what them Brits are using to kill people? Knives! How barbaric!
