  • Insomnia And The Reverse?

Well, it is 1:15 AM and I am wide awake with no desire or want to sleep. Totally different from yesterday, when I fell asleep at my computer and barely made it to the couch and then overslept this morning. Who else has these wildly variant sleep patterns?

I take a melatonin sometimes, but it makes it hard to wake in the morning and I am a little groggy during the day. Afraid to take one now because of how late it is. Screw it, I'm taking one. Its not a sleeping pill, but helps maintain sleep once you get there. They recommend you allot a good 8 hours for sleep. Guess I'm over sleeping again tomorrow.

ZZ your not keeping to your sleep pattern, what else do you expect to happen, if you cant sleep get and go watch your TV and just channel hop for an hour it clears your brain, its the reason your not sleeping as well our brains go into overdrive, answer we don't sleep.

With supplements you either take them or not, you must let your body get used to them, go talk with your dad, perhaps he can explain it better than me, but some DHEA and Tribulus could be of help, there really want you want as you start to get older, read up on them both.

Brain fog in the morning I always take 3 Paracetamol they work wonders for me, and clear my head, done that for to many years, either after drinking or not.

Thanks Nowhard, appreciate the thoughts. I took a melatonin and eventually fell asleep at 3 AM. Didn't wake up until 9:30 AM. Fortunately, my first appointment wasn't until noon or I would have been in trouble. You say a lot of truth, I can't sometimes shut my mind down. Watching TV doesn't always help. I've sat in bed watching TV so long I've finally given up and got up for the day. Hopefully tonight will be a smoother experience.

I'd talk to my Dad, but it will have to be in my dreams, he passed a couple of years ago.

I read recently about how sitting all day impact our sleep cycles. We sit in a chair hunched over so that our diaphragm is compressed and that causes tension that needs to be relieved before sleep. I added in a bridge pose to my nightly yoga that stretches out the diaphragm. Helps me sleep.

Sorry about your father the way answered before thought he was still doctoring.

No you need to get and go to your lounge, don't watch just one channel just move around, good old channel hoping, this way your using your brain to clear it your find it better, just you and your dog.

But what your taking just keep on it and let your body adjust to it, the other two will do you good as DHEA is tapering of as grow old, so your boosting it back up and Tribulus just backs it up, it takes 8 weeks to get to full power, they help you all round.
