This would be the birth of my first Daughter. The whole experience from conception () through the whole pregnancy to the actual live birth. This is somewhat funny, because, we did the prenatal classes and my wife was hell bent on natural child birth with no drugs involved. When we arrived at the hospital for the birth, she filled out the forms, I pulled the nurse aside and said that I wanted her to get an epidural regardless of what she requested. Well, a couple hours into labor, with my wife screaming in pain - in walks the anesthesiologist to give her an epidural in the spine. She actually looked at me with a sigh of relief and thanks and proceeded to enjoy the rest of the experience. She almost got instant relief from the pains of labor.

Then actually watching the head come out, the live birth, the beauty of nature, was awesome. She delivered our child, as it came out, the staff immediately put her in my wife's arms - umbilical cord still attached for a first hug and kiss. Just unbelievable and a memory I will never forget. That was 21 years ago this last August.
