...Not gonna have more babies after today. This is a Vasectomy thread where we can put all the info and experiences out there in one location. Just had mine about 3 hours ago so I don't have anything to contribute so far except the procedure was less than desirable, but simple and quick.

What do you guys have to share? The good? The not so good? The "oh my god what have I done?" How has the procedure affected your PE? Have at it.

Had mine done about a year and a half ago. Procedure was a breeze. Only bad part was the needle in the vas-deferans, everything else went good and was back to work the next day.

Blood in your semen is a "freak out" moment, but goes away in a month or so depending on how frequently you "discharge". My doctor told me after 3 weeks, to "Go ahead and have as many as you want, try and hurt yourself." LOL

Weird part was wanking in a cup and taking it to the lab. Nothing like handing a strange woman a cup of spooge and her asking when was the sample obtained.

Definitely wasn't a fan of the needles going anywhere down there. Good to know about the blood in the semen! I wasn't informed of that. Thanks! The locations of the incisions and the Urologists technique makes me apprehensive to start pumping again after it's all healed up. Sutured the tubes apart to some skin inside. I'd hate to disturb those. I forgot to ask after the procedure. Maybe I'll look for some thick silicone bases that can work with my cylinders.

I recently had a biopsy done to my prostate. The doctor told me the first time I cum it will look like a crime scene. The blood stayed around for 3 or so weeks. Nothing prepares you for the first time you spew bright red stuff from your dick.

Imagine the vasectomy after effects will be similar.

Damn. Yeah, I bet that's a little disconcerting. I might have to put a canvas on the ground before I crank one out... then sell it in some weird art place in New York. Call it Creme de la Rouge.

I do have to give them a call this morning. Think I popped a suture holding one of the vas-def tubes. Soft, short, and slow pull on my penis before I went pee last night... Felt a little weird pull in the scrotum and before I could stop... pop. What gets me is if it's going to pop just by that, what's going to happen when I get an erection? Everything's a little tighter due to the trauma and all that, I'm sure, but it just seemed odd.

They said not to worry about it if it's just a stitch holding a tube in place. Other stitches are in there to prevent the tubes from growing back together. We'll find out in 30 days when I bring in a sample.

Yep, not sure of the procedure you had but mine wasn't stitched in place. Blood in the semen is weird for sure, then it clears up and out of nowhere I guess a clot dislodges and WTF! The Doc just cut out a section of vas deferan and folded the sheath over the tube and sutured/tied it closed. I can feel the "lump" but no discomfort ever. You'll have some blue balls too, even with regular masturbation/sex until your body regulates sperm production as it's not discharged. The scars have all but disappeared too.

Pretty sure our procedures were similar, just with that added step. (however short-lived that may have been for one of the sides, at least). All good things to know, NF and ZZ! So far this isn't as bad as I anticipated and I haven't become one of the horror stories I've been told yet. Was told I could start having sex again 2-7 days after the procedure depending on how I felt... don't think I'm going to be risking it by having it 2 days after. How long did you guys wait for sex and how long for PE? Think you started to soon or waited too long?

Very unfortunately, my wife is a one and done weekend warrior. IIRC the procedure was on a Thursday to it wasn't until the following Saturday and I didn't risk a wank in between, so 9 days it was.

I wasn't doing PE at the time so can't comment on that.

Had mine done back in 1976, it was so simple they cut an inch out and just left the ends flapping around, see with an inch of tube cut away they don't join, and was back in work the next day, the only real down fall was it felt like my nuts was hanging down the loo at dump time, but of you don't have one get a jockstrap, great for keeping then in a nice place, had pain killers at the London clinic and drove home to Suffolk with the wife and kids all was OK then and has been ever since, took 3 once a month tests to get the all clear, did read before the last test if you masturbate daily it will clear your tubes quicker of live sperm.

Cant really remember when we first had sex, knowing my wife it was not to long after, like 2 or 3 days.

Nice. They only took about 1/4 inch with mine, if that. I would prefer they took more like they did with you. I'm guessing they don't in case someone wants a reversal later in life. In hind sight, I would have asked if that was a possibility/option.

Heard a story of a guy who's wife gave him a blowjob the night he got his... hospital trip. So yeah, I'm right there with you with not wanting to risk anything. Of course, a couple days wouldn't be as drastic as doing it that same day, but with my luck...

On the negative side. A guy i know had it done, the doc said 1 in ten guys get a bleeder, doesnt clot. Guess what? He won the lottery. What is the first thing you do to stop bleeding anywhere? Apply Pressure. That’s right, the doc squeezed his balls till they were blue. Next two days he walked bow legged with big blue balls. He did not go to work.
