I did a bloodwork with many values and some were elevated. I had higher than normal prolactin (top end of the range is 20, im at double that). Test and free test was normal, estrogen was at round 39, higher range is 50, so I guess it's normal. However, cortisol and noradrenalin was high above range too.
Can anyone that does long amounts of time of edging without ejaculating do a bloodwork and check your hormones to test my hypothesis of elevated prolactin? putting your system near orgasm without release may chronically have higher levels of prolactin? let's find out, because that is definitely not healthy. Im also shedding a ton of hair which is linked to high prolacin in some studies. The elevated cortisol, ATCH and noradrenalin also doesn't help, may fit in with the fact that im not getting the relief of ejaculation (ejaculating raises prolactin TEMPORARILY but not chronically, it goes low to baseline levels, just like doing sports). Note that I've had periods of not ejaculating for an entire month while practicing edging. My libido is high af.
