Any recommendations on things or places to go.
Just me and a pal going, so 2 males.
Not sure if strip clubs are a big thing out there or not. Obviously i know there are sex shows and sex shops but guessing thats all quite touristy too.

In fact, as I understand it, Amsterdam has just recently proposed some strict restrictions on tourist with regards to strip clubs, prostitution and so on.
Many tour groups had the red light district as part of there itinerary. People would walk around and take selfies in front of the working women and so on. Causing a great deal consternation for the locals, as it is disrespectful to the women.
So the city wants to limit tour groups and place restrictions on other illicit activities, as many people will visit just to go to a coffee shop.

I know a few people who have visited just fro the coffee shops. Being from Quebec, the sex tourism thing was not on my radar...but the maryjane was a draw. My brother and his girlfriend went just to visit the coffee shops; so did my buddy here, he took a 12 hour layover through just to stop and get a buzz before boarding again for southern Europe.

So in this case the "coffee" shops are not to do with coffee but with grass and the like . So like I said drugs not coffee. Of course sex is the other drawcard Amsterdam is famous for paid sex .
