Oh Habs, what are you doing to me?!?

It's probably all my fault, incogneeetoe. I have this effect on teams when I take an interest in them.

I missed the game, but saw the score late last night.

Tampa 5 Montreal 1

Ouch.

Well, there's still hope for a reversal.

Id love to see the Hab's win but Tampa Bay owned them in game 1, however the last few Stanley Cups were won by the losers of the first game.

This is a tall order for the Canadiens. Tampa is loaded but the Hab's have Carey Price. A hot goalie can steal the show, ask the 95 Redwings team that ran into a red hot Martin Brodeur!

This is a tall order for the Canadiens. Tampa is loaded but the Hab's have Carey Price. A hot goalie can steal the show, ask the (% Redwings team that ran into a red hot Martin Brodeur!

The Habs now return to home ice with a 2 game deficit. I so hope you're right Big O. I saw a good part of last night's Game 2. Frustrating especially considering the Habs' command of ice.

They have been physical but they are letting Tampa have better flow than they should allow.

They should incorporate some form of a trap system, maybe a left wing lock or a Russian triangle. Price is good enough to stop low percentage shots all day long but they are giving up too many opportunities close in. Make them shoot from the outside

A goaltending battle on equal terms would be better for the Canadiens and a trap presents plenty of counter punching chances.

Tampa is simply too good to let them have control of the middle of the ice.

I have been a Goaltender for 30 plus years, played until I was 50 and still
considering getting back into it. I still have some damn nice gear beckoning
me every so often

My last game, I was carried off but I did make the save!

I'm told only 4 times have teams come back from a 3-0 deficit to win the Cup Final. Honestly it will be difficult for me to tune out Game 4. Let's at least hope the Habs force Tampa to win the Cup on home ice. Geeze.

One down. Three to go! I actually sat through the entire Game 4 last night. It was satisfying to see the Habs force a Game 5 in Tampa.

Is it out of the question that they win this series? No.

I watched the Minnesota Wild in 2003 come back from a 3-1 deficit TWICE in two consecutive series. It was almost unheard of that they would come back from 3-1 even once in the postseason. They are the only team to ever do it twice in the same post season. They upset both the Avs and Canucks. They were routed by the Anaheim Mighty Ducks in the semi-final, but it was very exciting and dramatic to watch them advance in those playoffs against the odds.

And by the way, the Montreal Canadiens (our Habs) came back from a 3-1 deficit against the Boston Bruins in the 2004 quarter-final.

Anything can happen.

I watched yesterday also. I also watched the Red Sox come back to beat the Yankees down 0-3 and then win the WS back in 2004. Anything is possible. Go Habs.

Odds are against it but I'm hoping they do it
