Manscaping tip and question

First a scary but real tip. When you shave your balls do it completely dry with a razor. It may sound horrible but the hair roots are short and aren't irritated easily. Don't push down too firmly as you risk cutting yourself. This works way better than wet because the hair stands up and is easy to see. If you're brave enough to try it let me know how you like it.

Now a question. What do you do for the base of your shaft? I usually do it in the shower but that leaves me with a few razor bumps, and any razor bump down there can easily be taken the wrong way. I've tried dry on the shaft but it's absolutely brutal. A tip here would be great.
