Anyone else doing this? Finishing up week 1, already noticing a difference. Down 5 lbs, and more sore than I ever remember being..

I'd like to talk with some people either doing it or have completed it.

It's KIND OF PE, in that my NBPEL should increase as the fat pad gets smaller
    Starting: 4/1/10 - bpel 6.00 x 5.00 meg
    Current: 4/1/12 - bpel 7.30 x 5.20 meg, bpfsl 8.10
    Final Goal - bpel 7.75 x 5.75 meg
If you just read this, do 10 quick kegels

It took me 4 months to completely adjust to the P90x workouts. I had lost 25lbs the last time I checked (quite possibly more now). I plan to do another cycle, then I'll switch to a routine with insanity (a friend of mine started with P90x, then switch to insanity + lifting with good results). I'll either combine normal lifting / P90x / (or maybe convict conditioning) with insanity.

So far I'm happy with the results from P90x; the program does work pretty well. P90x uses some intervals, and a lot of muscle confusion. Insanity is cardio only with very intense intervals (it uses nothing but bodyweight). I don't see how anyone could fail with P90x if they follow the diet and don't miss a workout. By the way, both programs come from the same company.

Overall, I'm surprised at how good of a workout I can get at home without much equipment.

I completed P90X last year. It certainly works in developing fitness. I don't really like the diet plan looking back. I've had much better success with low carb diets. If you're interested then "paleo solution" would be worth checking out. They proscribe interval training which P90X would be great for.

      EG: 4 5/8"

I actually use the P90x program with my own diet (I'm just eating healthy, and avoiding processed food and bread; nothing special).

Plyo sucks. So does Ab Ripper. I hate it but I love it.

I'm going to do the P90X mass routine when I'm done with football in November. Can't wait!

I might do P90X again. It's winter. I'll have more time inside. In the summer I spend so much time hiking and such. This would be the time to do it. All that hard work should keep me from putting on 10 lbs through the holidays.

I have plans on starting Insanity within the next two weeks. I have been a big cardio fan, and figure its a good way to build it up again so I can start doing triathlons again, while also easing back into working out after my shoulder surgery.
