Hey, so a little over a month ago I weighed myself and I was the heaviest I have ever been (programming for 9+ hours a day really doesn't help with the six pack...). I haven't run or lifted since I started school and went to work (a little over four years). It scared the hell out of me so I immediately started running. The course I take is about 4.5 miles and I have got to the point where I can do about 3.5 with 2 minor breaks in the middle. The problem is that after about two miles, the circulation in my left foot quits working and I have to stop, take my foot out of my shoe and wait until the circulation returns. I am really trying to isolate what the problem is because at this point I am not stopping because of stamina, but because my foot really starts hurting. If it means anything, I blew out both my knees playing football in high school. I am thinking about getting some new shoes but I am not sure if that is the issue. Also, the muscles in my legs are pretty tight and I am really trying to loosen them up by stretching.
Thanks
