  • Hmm, grooming advice I suppose.

Well I figured out what few things were causing me to have low self esteem and I know what to do now.
So don't worry it isn't another self pity thread.
I haven't done anything like this before so I hope you're patient enough to guide me into the right direction.

Just got a few questions about:
    1. Body hair
    2. Stretch marks
    3. Exercise

For body hair, I found some devices I could use for trimming.
I could buy a woman's razor that has a bikini trimmer on the other end (this one http://www.amazon.com/Schick-Quattro.../dp/B001TH8Q72) and then use the bikini trimmer end, so I can trim the hair without the hassle of shaving. It is battery powered and a little bit noisy though, so my best bet would be to do it while people are out of the house and trim over a piece of paper or tissue or something that I can then bundle up and throw in the bin. But this would be a lot of tissue paper because I basically have 20 years of saved hair. Sorry about the image, hope I didn't interrupt your meal. :P
Also, there's a risk of clogging. How do I avoid these problems?

    http://www.amazon.com/Gillette-Venus...f=pd_sbs_hpc_3
This one might also be worth a look, it's not battery powered (so quieter and easier to use during a normal shower) and has a better guard than the other one which should give me a more consistent trim. Downside is it's disposable, so I'd have to buy a bunch of them, and seeing I got so much hair, I probably wouldn't be able to get away with using it 2 or 3 times.

Oh and, I'm afraid I might cut myself down there and I really don't want to have a bleeding from that area. Would be really inconvenient. Is there a way to avoid that?
Also, I purchased some blackhead removing strips (trust me, I really need those), an apricot scrub and some oil free moisturiser. Should I use the scrub before I use the strips? And what could I do to reduce the porous appearance of the skin on my face? I want to take good care of my face, make it bright and clean.

For stretch marks, cocoa butter/bio-oil/vitamin E cream are the options I have. Is there a cheaper alternative though? I have white stretch marks.

Exercise: I got a treadmill at home (can't run though, wooden floors), Convict Conditioning and 5 kgs (11 pounds) dumbells.
Is this enough for a beginner? If not, are there any other combinations I should add? I'm undecided on my routine at this point.

And if these questions weren't enough ... I got one more!
My PE routine was discontinued for about 2-3 months. However I already had 1 month completed. Should I just Do this for 2 more months and move to intermediate exercises?

Maaaaaan this is a lot I'm asking for. I apologise if you're somewhat agitated at this stage. I would, however, really appreciate any advice I could get.
I have already made progress by socialising and loosing weight. So let's kick it up a notch shall we?
    Thank you.

Hey there Hanma. As far as trimming your area down there be very careful with any type of clippers or trimmers. I have used them for a long time but every once in a while the scrotum can wiggle right up through the guard and let me tell you this is EXTREMELY unpleasant. Just last night I used my schick quattro razor. I was also scared about cutting myself but it was much easier than I expected. Baby smooth and my girlfriend likes it more =).

I don't know much about facial scrubs and whatnot but I think if you wash your face in the morning and before you go to bed you should be in good shape.

I'm not sure what kind of room you have where you live but I do Insanity by Shaun T. Its an exercise program and meal plan. After 1 month I lost 5 lbs (along with gaining a lot of lean muscle as I didn't have much weight to lose) and my girlfriend lost about 10lbs. We feel great now. It is pretty intense. Really though your diet will affect weight loss and overall well being more than exercise alone. Try and eat 5 small balanced (protien, carbs, and fruits and veggies) meals per day and walk where you can.

    Hope this helps!

I forgot to mention these 5 meals per day should be between 300 and 400 calories. Also the bnefit of this is it will keep your metabolism up throughout the day and you will have much more energy and burn more calories while at rest.

you're taking a step in a right direction... just don't get too metrosexual with it LOL!as far as taking care of your face, yes, you should try to do anything you can to get infections and clogging cleared up. that's a nay-no when you're trying to approach women. Make sure your skin is at least halfway clean. AT the very least, try not to have your face all shiny when you approach. Greasy skin is weird.

What you need to do with the shaving is pretty close. Standing over a Towel in the bathroom is a good idea. I have a trimmer with several different attachments. I think it's a Philips Trimmer. works wonderfully. It has "Extra Sensitive" attachments that allows you close precision without the worry of the blades cutting you, but if you have loose ball skin it's advisable to go downward wth gravity when you're shaving. going up can cause just a little bit of skin to get between the "teeth" of the Guard and get nipped by the clipper. It never really hurts when you cut yourself, it's just annoying cause the blood looks a lot worse than it really is.

I use my trimmer to get rid of excess hair, then I use a razor blade... any cheap Market razor is good. I'd avoid the triple edge razors like "Gillette" or something as they're incredibly aggressive and will nip at your skin if you're not EXTREMELY careful.

The most important thing is to make sure, at all times, you smell good.

Honestly, I'm not too concerned with stretch marks. a comedian once said "What do stretch marks mean? All that is saying That you were either big and got small or you were small and got big..." not a big deal.

So you use it for all parts of your body or just your scrotum area?

Does it work for every part of the body? I don't want to get rid of all my hair, some chest, arm and leg hair would look great on me. Just want to keep it under control you know?
Back hair though, I want those gone.

Will have to use a Shick blade then.

I shave my chest, pubic mound, and scrotum with an old-school safety razor, just using a lot of lather and making sure I know where the grain is and to shave with it. For stretch marks I use Jergen's cocoa butter and it has worked pretty well, they're still there, but they're lighter and more shallow.

I use a Bodyworks 5000 workout machine for my exercise, it's kind of like a Total Gym knock-off, but it works well. You might not want to buy another workout machine though. I imagine those programs like P90x and Insanity work well if you follow through. Unless you're trying to get hardcore and maximize gains, I think it's more about dedication and watching your diet than using any particular approach.

Hmm, I will have to stick with Convict Conditioning right now.

And I'm guessing it's a Philip's trimmer for the body but a Schick razor for the scrotum. Getting a lead here.

I just shave down below. Don't go against the grain if you don't want bumps.
Palmer's cocoa butter is great for fading stretch marks. It took about 3 months of using it daily to notice it.
Exercise.... everyone is different. I'm partial to high intensity training but since my weight set is limited I do high reps or low weight when lifting. I have lost about 8lbs this month.

It looks like I'm the only ones using the 5 blades I just got some new pro glide razors for my fusion power. With that baby going against the grain is no problem down there. A tip on the sack though, get it nice and loose so you can move the skin around you'll hurt yourself more if your sack is all tight and wrinkly. Wether you shave or trim you gotta keep up on it, your partner won't appreciate the stubble burn you give them if you don't.

I myself have stretch marks, I might look into some of this stuff, good question!

As for weight loss I just got my fat ass up and moving, I go to a gym now and am down 25 pounds from where I began. It's just like pe though, pick a program and stick to it!
                  Nothing better to do...

I use a beard trimmer to remove most of the hair and then, if I am going bald down there, I use a Quattro.
Wash your face with soap before using the strips. If you use anything moisturizing before the strips then they won't stick. I use them right out of the shower, before drying off so my face is still dripping wet. Apply the strip and then pat your face dry with a towel and then wait for the strip to finish drying on its own.
You are on a good path. Taking care of yourself is important and sends a good message to everyone else, especially women.

Yea it's got attachments AND they're adjustable up to 5 different levels from 2 different style length adjusters. It's perfect if you want to just keep your pubes or your chest hair to a small, but furry amount and shape it up, or you want to get it as low as possible before you use a razor. It's actually the best "trimmer" I've ever bought and the fact it's rechargeable is perfect. no more worrying about worn out batteries.

The flat blade attachment (looks like a grill) is amazing too. cuts really low. perfect for facial hair.

As far as trimming/shaving down below:
I shave "across the grain." As in perpendicular to the direction the hair grows.
Shaving against the grain will give you the closest shave, but with that comes shave bumps. Shaving with the grain isn't quite as close as I like, so this is a happy medium, and works for me.

A face wash with tee tree oil and vitamin E is a great, natural cleanser for clean and clear skin.

Okay I need tips with how to use the Philips body trimmer to trim my dick area and shave using a razor without any cuts and burning sensations.

ALSO, I have a copy of Convict Conditioning at home, 11 pounds (5 kilograms) dumbells and a treadmill. On which I am not allowed to run.

What should I do to get rid of the stomach fat and get proper abs? =/ It sounds so stupid I know but I want to start wherever I can. My diet has improved and I do the exercises mentioned in Convict Conditioning.

                            Help please please please please?
