Bored and thought I'd share 5 random truths about myself that you don't know.
1. Dream job: When my youngest daughter starts school, I wish to open a bakery. I love to bake bread, cookies, cakes, etc. I also decorate all the birthday cakes for the children in my family. UPDATE: Although I still love love love to bake all types of goodies, since typing this out, I think this dream has changed a bit. I think I would still love to have that little shop to share with others my creations, but it wouldn't be a bakery. It would be a mosh posh of things. I'd sell my items I make(soaps, shampoos, herbal medicines...oils, salves, ointments), plus, sell gardening seeds, dried herbs, so basically home remedy, old school/natural type products. Maybe even host small classes on basic herbal remedies, sewing, and life skills that today's average person neglects to learn today.
2. This one time at band camp: In high school, I was a nerd. A band nerd at that. I played flute and then switched to tuba. Big change but loved it. Was the first female Tuba Section Leader of my school. I also played bass guitar, have an acoustic at home but have yet to learn to play.
3. My biggest regret: my best friend in high school was gay. She never told me in high school, only came out years later. Wish she trusted me enough to help her through that difficult time in her life.
4. Family: I live in the exact spot I was raised. Not with parents or anything, just on the land. Nothing is more important to me than my family.
5. Best friend: Besides my husband, his mom is my girl best friend. I love this woman with all my heart. She is the one who alcoholed me down after that one time I shared in a thread. Won't go into details
She had 2 sons, (one passed away at 33 a few years back) and she always wanted a daughter, she has me. There's not much that we don't share. And yes, my husband both enjoys and is slightly scared about the amount of info. his mom knows.
Now, you know a little more about SLU!
So, who's brave enough to go next. Just random things, as general or in detail as you want to go.
