I think most people struggle within themselves at the age you are at. and that struggle is intensified when its based in sexuality. Your looks and dicksize will not effect your ability to find love. You lack of liking yourself might.
You are good the way you are... you should try to find a community where you live of people who can relate to the challenges of being gay ..you are not alone there will be others who are at the same point as you.

Yes, happens to me all the time. But you get nowhere being insecure about it, you must be proactive. I thought my penis was small, so I started jelqing and now I'm confident in my penis size (even if it is still average or just above). I also have really skinny wrists, so I do forearm exercises to make it look more natural. I also have a receding hair line, tried rogaine and it wasn't for me. So now I'm just taking as good care of my hair as possible in order to keep it around for longer. Let's see....I also have a small head, long legs, skinny fingers, etc. Everyone has flaws, but it's how you deal with those flaws that makes you who you are. I used to stress about every last thing, but in the end that will do nothing for you but make your life worse.
I'm sure when you find a guy he'll have just as many issues as you do. So stop stressing my man!2/2/2018

Wow! Great advice and so true.Originally posted by TINKERBELL View PostYou lack of liking yourself might.

When I was in my late teens and early twenties I was overweight, not very good looking, and had a small penis. I compensated for what I thought were my shortcomings by being the funny one in the crowd, and the one that was the protector/enforcer- I would fight at the slightest provocation. I wanted a girlfriend badly, but was scared to death of the ultimate intimacy. Although I had several make-out sessions, that involved some heavy petting, I would always make an excuse for not "going all the way." My first time ever, a girl that had been really bugging me about taking her out and was always flirting told me I was small- in fact, she said I was the smallest of the other 6-7 lovers she had been with. I was crushed! This is while we were actually doing it. Then something remarkable happened. I felt her lady parts tighten up and squeezed my woody like a fist, and she started with OMG, OMG, OMG. I had no idea what was going on, and then she said she had an orgasm and had never had one with anyone before. My despair turned to pride in "going where no man had gone before."
I guess all of this is to say, even though I had serious issues with my body, there was someone that found me attractive and desirable. And even though I didn't "measure up" to the presumed standard, I was able to turn what I thougt was a negative into a positive for us both.

Ok, this was kind of hard to understand as one big sentence but I think I get it. Basically you're saying that your flaw is that you can see all your flaws/think you have a lot of flaws And that you wont be able to be happy with your partner because you don't know if he will overlook these flaws...Well, I find one mistake there, because you see, if I feel comfortable in my body I will be confident enough to want to share it with someone else, which isn't quite yet the case, for if I think of me as not that good looking and not very endowed how will I ever want to impose these bad traits on someone else not knowing that other person loves me and is willing to overlook these flaws, including the flaw that leads me to believed I have flaws everywhere?
All I can say is you'll probably grow out of it once you begin to accept the fact that your gay (because I believe you said you were still discovering or something). Once you begin to embrace yourself as a whole, that's when your insecurities will begin to fade. You should seriously look into seeing a therapist, maybe he can help you like yourself a little more. Don't take this the wrong way, but do you have ADHD?
Edit: And when you get to know your partner...you will discover all of his flaws, some of them you will not like but you will have to deal with because you "love" him. You don't seem to understand that when people love each other they work through the flaws, and learn to deal. It's not like the movies all peachy.2/2/2018

Sky, I'm going to be realistic without trying to sound insensitive. It sounds like you might want to look into therapy. I'm not saying this to be rude, I'm saying this from experience. I'm all too familiar with being so uncomfortable in your own skin that you have moments where you don't even see how someone could want you (and I'm straight). The most you'll get here is mild support. Very mild. Not because no one cares, but because it's all that an outlet like this can provide. Getting over something like this can take years of help and hard work believe me, and a bigger penis won't fix of it. Will it help you be fractionally more confident in one particular area? Sure, maybe... but it's not a magical cure all. That said, I think your initial question was simply wondering if anyone else ever has moments of insecurity from time to time. Short answer: absolutely. If you've never been insecure about something from time to time, I don't think you're human. Regardless of what your sexual identity/preference is, age, gender, race, religious beliefs, etc... people are, for the most part, pretty much the same. Even the most beautiful and confident of people have insecurities that you wouldn't even consider them having. I'm 26 and I've been insecure about plenty of things off and on ever since I ever knew what the meaning of the word was. I can also assure you that I will continue to be insecure about things for the rest of my damn life. I don't say this to scare you, I say it to comfort you. Everyone is insecure about something and we always will be. The older we get, the smarter we get, we just learn to stop caring so much because I promise you, no one will ever care about, or even notice, your flaws as much as you do.Last edited by Roger Wilco; 09-25-2012, 03:01 AM.

I think we all do my friend, you are certainly not alone. This happens to me sometimes too perhaps once a week, twice a month. Just try not to worry about it. I mean at the end of the day who are you trying to impress
? I don't mind how I look on most occasional (unless I'm going out). But my penis, I like to make it look great for myself

What are you talking about, man? You asked a question and I answered it. You asked specifically if men go through this their whole lives when Tink's answer wasn't good enough for you. I said most men feel inadequate at some point, but a constant mental state of low confidence is problematic and needs addressing.Originally posted by Sky RunnerTell me, PEskeptic, do you have a grudge against me? Do you hate me in any way? Did I offend you? Did I hurt you? Did I insult you? Did I cross any imaginary line I was unaware of? I am tired of every time I read one of your comments on the threads I start (to the best of my memory) I feel insulted and worse. Always... Isn't it enough for you that my mind keeps on beating me, you have to come along and stick a stake or two? My "(...) mental disposition that needs addressing" was caused by you, the society I've always lived in, always beating me down whenever I had some confidence in any part of me, always pulling me down, and like everything, I believe I've reached my breaking point, meaning, no more confidence... Thank you dear people, I had nothing but love to give, and only wanted some love back, but your corruption is far too great and far too vile to deserve the goodwill and kind heartedness of anyone.
Stop being so dramatic. No answer is good enough for you. People are out to get you. I took time out of my day, albeit not much, to answer your question - and this is the response I get. You're ungrateful and abraisive to all those that you interact with. And you wonder why your threads go unanswered? You need to learn how to function in society.

This thread is a perfect example of how some people blow shit out of proportion. You blame the world for all your insecurities when really they stem from inside yourself. Get a grip, PEskeptic wasn't hating on you, you just like to twist things every which way so that in the end they make you feel worthless. You need to learn to let things go, not just repress them. Hopefully you'll find yourself as you grow up a little more. You seriously want to live the rest of your life like this? Crying about every last thing, flipping out over one post. If you ever grow out of your current views on society, you may finally realize how much time you've wasted. Please...don't take this as hate. Just try to understand what I'm saying. You should really think about seeing a shrink.Last edited by UpcomingStallion; 09-26-2012, 07:14 PM.2/2/2018
