  • I need help with rest days

Hey guys. I don't have a strict day-on/day-off schedule. I usually just take breaks when my penis feels fatigued... you know, play it by ear.

    My question is this...

Is it better to keep a schedule (5 on, 1 off, etc.) and stick to it... or rest when it feels neccessary?

    Thanks.

For sure you'll want to rest when it feels necessary. Your body knows when it needs a break more than anyone on this site. There are some nights that I don't respond well to PE and I don't sweat it and just try again another night. After a day or two break I'll often have a very productive, healthy session. Schedules are great but don't let them make PE a chore. I have yet to have an "injury" as I take it slow and easy. Too many guys try to hard, to fast. Gains come with patience, time, and rest...

luvmywife is dead on. Less is more sometimes. People get caught up in working it and forget it needs time to heal and repair (which takes longer usually then breaking it does)
Dr. PhibbysHammer has not got 3 degrees from HARVARD, YALE and PRINCETON and is in no way LICENSED TO PRACTICE MEDICINE or PSYCHOLOGY. https://www.pegym.com/forums/success...hacts-phi.html

Spot on. PHammer. Sometimes it takes 2days/week to heal and repair, but you can mess that puppy up in a single session.

I definitely recommend having rest days - you could even make it a rest week, every month or so. I've had a week and a half off due to a thrombosed vein (or something similar) and I couldn't believe the gains I've made by just resting. I've made more gains in my week and a half off, than in the past few months.

Like PhibbysHammer said, less is definitely more.

Thanks for the feedback. Really not the answer I was expecting... was prepared for a "just deal with it" response
