I'm reminded of something I learned back in a university ecology course I took in college.
We were discussing the Irish elk and their extinction. Toadstool and CJ have made some very good posts regarding the best selling dildo sizes, they were much lower than 8x6.

Off the top of my head it was like 7x5 (or 5.5), I can't remember to be honest but I'll have a look

The 8x6 goal is a number perpetuated by men, not by women, it could be considered overly large "just in case" and it also has a nice ring to it.
