I don't look forward to games that are not games anymore, using nothing, but the graphics and hype to sell and are a quarter of the playability that PS1 games had.

I limit my kids time, I personally think you can only spend so much time playing video games before you are a brain dead retard but thats just my opinion. They are cool and the new games may be awesome but if your playing 6 hours a day then why build a dick that your not ever going to use.

The biggest issue for me is no more hard copy games. This means this is not for poor people like me anymore.I think alot of peole are going to stop playing games as a result of this. For games are expensive in general that's why there are hackers.

Not quite actually. Perhaps even the opposite. I would think poor people stand to benefit most from having soft games that can easily be shared across USB flash sticks or networks. One of the problems that was always present was the fact that games had to be physically bought for every new release and that was expensive, hence you had chaps still playing PS2 in 2012 with "chipped" drives. Soft games make gaming more accessible and guys like Sony know that that's why they try to make a killing from the price of the console itself because after that it becomes harder to profit from the games that are easily stored and sheared on memory drives.

some people buy the system for Blue ray movie, music, social, ,HD tv shows and of couse games but that is optional.

So I just got news that the ps4 will be able to play old games.
the ps4 will be allowed to play used games.

Except Sony and Microsoft have been actively looking into not allowing sharing of any game outside of the console it was first put on. No hard disc also means no used games either, which a lot of people rely on if they have shallow pockets.

that is true.

but a ps4 and computer are kinda different. a computer is for personal use and a ps4 is for family or friends use multiple people can play at the same time wether through internet or side by side.

well from my experience for the ps3, I don't have high speed internet access but i still get around with the features it has .
movie, downloads , theme ,game ect.

and for a person who plan on buying a ps4 with no internet it is still no biggie, they will have fun with it, but they won't get to use all of it full features.

Thus the possibility of "borrowing" games and copying them and returning them thus playing at no cost. Unless you are saying there is no hard drive in the ps4 with the ability to copy and transfer games/files? Because if its there as well then its all about sharing and storing/saving game files.

Outside of the little discussion, I sort of sighed when Square basically said "Our announcement today is that we will have an announcement at E3." Then showed the same video they did last year. When will they start making Final Fantasy good again?

There would be a hard drive, but the game would only be registered to the system, hard drive, or even username (however they choose to do it) and would only play for that particular person basically. This is like a rumor that is also part fact. Sony has been playing with this idea since the PS3 and what little info we have about the next Xbox shows Microsoft looking even further into that possibility.

It wouldn't be the first time that any game company made a bad decision. Virtual Boy, movement based gameplay, the most recent Aliens game, Playstation Move, putting the Dreamcast out right before the PS2, Final Fantasy 13, and many other things that slip my mind.

Online only play is the bigger of the two rumors, in that it has less actual facts going for it right now, but it has been a worry for the next XBox as that is where that rumor has originated from.

A lot of speculation is that the PS4 and XBox will be sort of "changing positions" where the XBox 360 was easier to make games for the PS4 will be now. It is going to be interesting where things go for sure, but I am keeping my expectations low this time around as, I believe, this current generation has to be the lowest point in gaming in quite some time.
