I found this comparison of L-Arginine and Viagra, I found it interesting but no links to sources were given so I don't know how accurate the comparison is.

I got it to open in another tab. Very good info, this is the second thread in two days that makes me think I am upping my dosage of L-Arginine.

The link seems to be sponsored by the Arrowhead Resort, which has a link to purchase l-arginine. The link also recommends taking up to 18 capsuls a day. I believe it is trying to promote the sale of ll-arginine in order to makea profit. I would have reservations before taking the listed benefits seriously.

I have used both arginine (>5 gr doses) and Viagra (up to 100 mg) and based on my experience, I would have to say Viagra is hands down the winner in the EQ benefits category. L-arginine may contribute to some of the other benefits listed, but it is only marginally effective in improving EQ. However, it's negative side effects are most likelly less harmful than some of the negative side effects associated with Viagra.

Reading that comparison got me interested in finding out how much was true so I've been read some results on studies done on L-Arginine and so far what I've read has been pretty interesting.

From what I've read so far it's a really beneficial supplement and if taken long term could prove beneficial to guys with ED.

I took L-Arginine for a while and didn't notice any difference at all to be honest.

However, due to budgetary constraints, I was only taking 1g per day which is a negligible amount so my experience isn't indicative of L-Arginine's efficacy. I plan on buying L-Arginine in powdered form quite soon, as opposed to capsules, as it is much cheaper

I doubt that it will be as effective as that chart claims, but I am hopeful for some sort of positive reaction.

Honestly guys, if you need "pills" to get a hard on, there is something wrong with you. A healthy man has a healthy penis. If you penis isn't working right that is a sign you are not healthy. Figure it out and fix it. For me it was a porn addition. I quit porn and now my penis is harder and better than ever. Perhaps it might be diabetes, or blood pressure issues, or weight gain, or whatever. The point is ... listen to your penis. Something is wrong. Put down the pills and get healthy.

I have been taking l-arginine for over three years. When I started I was taking 1000 mg daily and after about six months I concluded that it was not resulting in any improvement in my ED. I also read that powdered l-arginine was more effective than tablets so I ordered a 1000 gram container of l-arginine ethyl ester and started using 5 to 6 grams dissolved in a glass of water about three hours in advance of sexual activity and noticed that it helped to generate some additional engorgement but not enough for penetration. Even when I add 50 mg of Viagra, I still need to apply a tight cock ring to bring it up to a penetrative quality erection.

I have used about 1800 grams of AEG since I started using it.

I should also mention that my ED is a result of T2 diabetes so I am also hoping that it is helping to improve my insulin production as well,; however, I have no evidence that it has helped in this area as well but if it is, that would be an additional bonus.

And where did I say anything was wrong with my penis? Do I need to have something wrong with my penis to find the beneficial effects of a supplement interesting?

Perhaps if you'd bothered to read any of the links I provided, you would of found out that it has a lot more possible benefits than just a treatment for ED, so maybe you should do that next time before offering up your wisdom.

The article in my previous post suggests more research is needed to determine it's effect on diabetes but it may help reduce complications associated with diabetes.
