Faking body language is pretty easy, but on dates, etc... it's pretty damn rare to find a girl who fakes it. It's more likely the guys will, often to attempt to appear confident... and just appearing more nervous most of the time. Political debates, et cetera, are just contests of bravado, maybe with a gender/race card thrown into play now and again.

I don't think the average person is educated in body language. I understand that not everyone agrees with me. Some may fake some body language first to bait and catch, but the reality of who they really are gets figured out pretty quick. It isn't a something a person can pull off long term.

I agree. Body language, for the most part, is subconscious. The average person doesn't realize he/she is doing it. I have studied the subject a bit. Yes, people can learn to fake it in certain situations, but even then it takes practice and not everyone is good at it.

I mean, how do you fake pupil dilution?

If within the first five minutes of meeting a woman, she does find an excuse to get you away from her, you have a good chance. I am pretty good looking dude but now with some gray in my 40 years, but its what I say to her that gets me to the door not my looks.

I don't get what faking body language for a woman has to do with this discussion anyway. Why would a woman want to fake interest in a guy she doesn't like? That would just keep her in an uncomfortable situation longer. And why would she want to fake disinterest in a guy she likes and potentially drive him away?

I have said it before women fake interest just for an ego hit. When you get interested they can just say you misread the body language.
Of course when it is verbal it is harder to deny, but they do that too. i know other guys have experienced this, often they even blame themselves.
