Good Morning Gentlemen,

I am once again on a fact-finding mission for my sex blog and I was wondering if any of you have engaged in "thrustless" intercourse with a partner; either by using the C.A.T. (coital alignment technique) or some other penetration technique. Is so, what technique(s) did you use? Did it result in orgasm for you and your partner? Why did you choose "thrustless" penetration? (health, new sensation, comfort, etc.) Would you recommend it to other couples?

We are older and usually only have thrusting orgasmic sex about once a week. In addition, most sexual encounters start with a back rub for her with my semi and/ or erection resting against her back side. When the erection becomes rigid enough, I lube it up and slide it in from the rear. I normally do not thrust, but slowly slide it in and out or just make it twitch by kegeling. We can remain like this for fifteen minutes or more. Occasionally, we have been known to doze off in this position.

if we are in the mood to orgasm, I roll her over and perform oral before proceeding in the missionary position to the intended conclusion. If we are not in the mood, I withdraw and we move on to our regular morning routine.

Karezza and Coitus Reservatus are different from what I am inquiring about. I am referring to performing penetrative sex without thrusting; more of a grinding, rubbing or gyrating action to reach orgasm. Does this make sense?

I didn't know the name for it but (cat) has been used and loved by Mrs crazy for years.
She seems to love it in no matter the position we maybe in. Usually a warning sign she is about to wet the sheets. :-)

I think it's easier when the woman is on top to accomplish the grinding motion.

Right on, my feelings exactly. It's definitely a position that most women should get a lot of pleasure from, and as pointed out can help a man last longer as the feeling isn't as intense. However, while grinding deep in the right position the man can feel the cervix rubbing on his penis and this is actually very pleasurable.

IMO it's a great position for a couple where the woman may have a harder time than the man in reaching orgasm (or the man has an easier time than the woman, whichever way you look at it)

I think I have.

One thing to note is if you are a guy and not quite long enough to reach the cervix if she is on top gravity will help you out.

My first serious girlfriend I always bottomed out on until she went off her birth control. Then all the sudden I couldn't touch bottom no matter how hard I tried, unless she got on top.

Both man and woman on top. Grinding, rocking, and "screwing" like draggin described.

Not always, but it has. It is a favorite of my wife's, though.

Luck, I guess. Just experimenting with what feels good. Usually happens during, ahem, power play. Holding down and using the other person for leverage.

Not sure if this is what you mean but one of the best sexual experiences I had had in my life at a point in my life was with my FWB. I layed on my belly and he laid directly on top of me. Our arms stretched out and holding hands in the grip. My toes pushing on the front of his toes and as he was inside of me I would squeeze him.
