WHAT FREUDIAN SLIP IS MOST LIKELY TO HAPPEN TO YOU?

            • Yeah, I did that once. Mr. Donnelly wasn't too happy about it, either.

                  • Calling your Teacher "Mom"

The Freudian Slip that's most likely to happen to you is Calling Your Teacher "Mom"! Come on, we've all done it once before, and if you're still in school it'll probably happen again. Teachers have a tendency to emulate a role not just of authority but for care and concern, so we can understand how this subconscious slip of the tongue can occur. We also can't overlook the whole discipline factor; even our own mothers need to learn how to put us in our place from somewhere! While a teacher can't compare to our loving, maternal figure, we accidentally call her mom probably due to the fact that she teaches us lessons in one way or another as well.
A real man never hurts a woman. The woman came out of a man’s rib, not from his feet to be walked on, and not from his head to be superior, but from his side to be equal. Under the arm to be protected, and next to the heart to be loved. - Mrs. workin_4_it

                    • Hahahaha...too funny! Although it has never happened in a job interview, I once accidently dropped the f-bomb in high school when talking to a teacher about an assignment. (luckily he just laughed at my embarrassment )

This freudian slip has been a fear of mine ever since. True story.

                        • I could see myself doing this....
                          Saying Something Strange While Flirting
The Freudian Slip that's most likely to happen to you is Saying Something Strange While Flirting! This can potentially be something sexual (like an innuendo), or something as silly as combining two words together (ie: "Grool"). When this slip occurs, you're likely to have found yourself enchanted by the one you are engaged in a flirting dialogue with, so it's not natural that you mix up your words a bit. However, the specific terms and replacements that belong in your conversation could have personal association with what interests you about the person... so just make sure you don't tell them they're "The breast" instead of the "The best".

The thing that I think is the most important is taking moments to express your appreciation to your partner. A thank you or a quick kiss can go a long way toward affirming your relationship and commitment to each other. That's not hard to do even when you're juggling insane careers and three kids. ~ Michael Ian Black
