An Old Soul

I talk a good game but I struggle with porn, and I am trying to avoid it. I am afraid that one might be a little too close to the edge for me. I hope you enjoyed it though.

Understandable and I certainly respect the boundaries you have set for yourself but I will tell you that there is very little that is pornographic about the sex scenes in the movie. It is more erotic and passionate and sometimes even downright funny.

But no, it was not better than the book yet it wasn't anywhere near as awful as the critics made it to be. Will it win any Academy Awards? No, but it is certainly nowhere near as bad as some movies I've seen - like Showgirls, for example.

The soundtrack is pretty awesome though - Danny Elfman, Sia, Beyonce, Annie Lennox, The Weekend, AWOLNATION, Ellie Goulding, etc.

I think you will enjoy it MrB8. I thought it was pretty good. I would have opted for a bit more intensity in a few of the non-sexual scenes but other than that, I thought it was okay.
